I hadn't considered Calais would affect deliveries.

£1.50 works stuff.

£4 tassimo pods.

15p San towels
23p paracetamol
75p reduced samosas.

£2.55 book called "the takeaway secret" off eBay. It's meant to be good.

Tescos coffee and cereal markdowns are still on, Oreo tassimo pods are £2.48 but mine had sold out of them. The yellow shelf tickets say reduced to clear.

north I hope you get a good result off the complaints.

Whatabout · 06/08/2015 17:27

I went to lidl to do some shopping, I'd run out of bread so thought I'd pootle over and also get the bits for a picnic on Saturday and to top up the snacks cupboard (for me and DH, we like to have crisps / biscuits / choc bars in so we don't impulse buy and regulate it). I spent £28 and was really pleased with how much I had. I looked up some of the prices on sainsbiry and I did really well. Gravadlax for £1.49 will be my dinner with a 15p roll, hope it's nice! The bakery was very tempting and I will be suggesting my husband goes there with son for Saturday cake treats!

So £50 spent today, both of those were predicted spends and I'm quite happy with that.

SpottyTeacakes · 06/08/2015 17:57

Nsd!

TheOnlyPink · 06/08/2015 18:50

fluffy I got some great bargains in tesco, loads of things reduced to clear. Got bags of posh museli for €1, bags of oats for 70c, condensed milk for 65c.
Ds got to chose some junk sugary cereal cos it's a birthday tradition, he chose honey loops. Was Shock at paying €4 for a box of cereal, but got to the till and it was €1.40 Grin

Very unfugal day today, had a very lovely day out tho! Brought a picnic for lunch, so not as bad as it could have been. Had bought the tickets last week but they were €20, Spent €8 on crazy golf, €10 on coffees and ice cream, €6.50 in arcade and €35 on dinner.
Also spent €15 on top up shop on the way home.

Weather has been lovely today too. It's just been one of those perfect family days! Smile

NSD but will need to get my niece a birthday present tonight online.

Are any of you Bzzagents? It's a survey site where they send you freebies and coupons. You get invited to campaigns, a bit like Tesco Orchard. I'm currently doing Jacobs cracker crisps.

peppapissinpig · 06/08/2015 19:35

NSD.... Flags out!!

girliefriend · 06/08/2015 19:49

Good: car park ticket machine was broken so I couldn't pay. The kiosk man let me out without paying!

Bad: went to Tesco and spent £8.30 on pizza and chocolate. Very very bad!

Laska42 · 06/08/2015 20:34

Weekend shop in co op was £71 have DGS (2 1/2) coming for weekend so got some things he likes that I wouldnt have normaly bought, (and some pull-up nappies -he's not quite got potty training yet) also other bits and pieces for us inc Wine!! . But that should be it for weekend. (I can always send Dh down to shop if needed Wink

Also got £50 out cash ,
£10 of which which went in Easyweigh : 1kg pot of wholenut peanut butter, jar of tahini (we'd run out of both , but they will last us ages ) also a can of waterchestnuts as im planning on making NKs sweet and sour this weekend (have everything else but the pineapple though )..

£12 for car park change , will need this tomorrow
.. and as I had amassed £8 in £2 coins they have had to go in the £2 savings pig..Grin

So I have £20 left in cash.. only projected spends are for tin of pineappple , milk and (and an icecream for DGS i expect)

Ill have to fork out for the ferry tomorrow to pick up DGS , but will try and remember to take a snack and drink for him so that I dont have to buy him anything on the way back , meeting him at Gunwharf (should really leave credit card at home ),

All the monthly DDs are out now , but the budget is looking tight for the rest of the month at only £220 left .. I really dont want to dip into what I put away as savings , so fingers crossed for no emergencies! I do have £36 in co op vouchers and a £10 sainsbos voucher though.. but am trying to save those for Christmas (eek, sorry for mentioning that ) food spends..

Hmm laska you really shop pop into baby gap for some new pjs for DGS as they're so cute in there Wink

peppapissinpig · 06/08/2015 21:21

Laska, are you IOW? I was in Gunwarf last week and grew up in Southampton. Many happy hols and day trips spent on the island

Lucie99 · 06/08/2015 21:26

No Spend Day Grin Meeting friends at the park tomorrow so plan on taking a picnic. Going to try really hard to avoid the café/ice cream kiosk and have another NSD.

Laska42 · 06/08/2015 21:36

Yes Im IOW!

Phew...... I'm not meeting them at Gunwharf now (CC is saved!)

peppa I'm originally from just north of Portsmouth.. ( but have lived all over.. )

spotty you just made me Blush with shame..but yes I am often guilty (but have no debts though now) .. but today was all things we would normally have apart from food and nappies for DGS...

Managed the rest of the day with no more spending. DD is very into buses at the moment - she points, waves and squeals at them on our walks. I've therefore decided to take her to town on the bus tomorrow for a treat! It actually is a treat too, bus fares are so high that it would be cheaper to drive and park for an hour. Might get a coffee and a cake in the nice cafe that undercharged us last week as I feel a bit bad about it!
Got paid £2 from Quidco today and did a couple of surveys - one on Quidco for about 30p and one on Ipsos for a lot of points, I've nearly saved enough for another £10 John Lewis voucher. These surveys pay for my expensive Clarins foundation!

needastrongone · 06/08/2015 22:08

Evening.

Abel and Cole delivery today, budgeted for. £50 in Aldi yesterday, total food bill for the week is £105 for the 4 of us and there's tons in the house to eat.

Yesterday was spendy going to Blackpool, but I didn't end up driving so saved petrol there. £10 on coffees (bought my friends as she did drive), £8 in McDonalds on way home, £10 on crepes.

Friday I am in the house all day and have a low spend weekend planned.

Laska42 · 06/08/2015 22:19

Good plan pointless I might talke DGS on the open-top bus up to the Needles this weekend.. definately have a beach trip planned for sand castles , and we will possibly go and see the Alpacas (they will both be free as I can walk there with him in the buggy )..

Weather looks good ,so also planning getting the paddling pool out in the garden and the play tent out ..otherwise its going to be the ikea train set and duplo all the way.. Ill be exhausted by the time he goes back on Monday !! ..

NSD

SpottyTeacakes · 07/08/2015 06:30

Should be nsd

Quick question: the train to London next week is £35.10 for us all through the train line. If I book at the station on the day will it be the same or more? Asking because I have cash for this and would need to pay into my bank account to buy online.
