How frustrating missA

Nsd so far....I did start surfing amazon for a family calendar but they were about £8-£10 so will look in pound shop. Amazon is too easy sometimes!

Someone wants something on fb site, fab. It seems like it's picking up on there a bit atm so I might have a declutter of the kids roomsWink

Did online banking and feeling poor, extension is still costing a fortune, but prob "only" another £2k to go....its the odds and sods that stack up when you're not expecting it (like wood/plumbing/cabling)

Mojito100 · 03/11/2014 14:10

NSD today. Another 3 to go. Should be nsd tomorrow too. Wednesday only petrol which is weekly and Thursday pay some bills. I intend to stick to food budget for November.

cheshcat · 03/11/2014 14:48

NSD was feeling ill over the weekend so me and DS are taking it easy today. Made DM a birthday card with DS instead of buying one. Hope it goes down well Smile

574ejones · 03/11/2014 15:02

£4.80 coffees for me and a friend, £1 bananas, £12 light bulbs. But made nearly £30 on eBay.

passthecake Aldi have a family calendar in their special buys this week.

lilacclery · 03/11/2014 15:04

passthecake there was an offer in daily mail on sat for photo calendars, will fish it out for you.

Just tallied my spends from Sat mentally
€48 aldi, €2 stock pots for 12 dated 31/10/14 I'm not bothered! €30 in smyths 3 fisher price cars for ds's 1st birthday to go with the fisher price garage I bought on fb a few weeks ago plus wrapping paper & home safety kit as he can now open fridge & freezer, toilet and saucepan press, most other presses were already done. €20 homestore €15 on brita filter jug & €5 on a batter dispenser - we make pancakes every Sat so this was a real treat.

Sunday €4 on charity walk

I love the family calendars on organisedmum.co.uk - pricy but fab!

poor missA this is really dragging out for you. Hope you get some response today

AdoraBell · 03/11/2014 15:15

Thanks Fluffy.

I hope they call soon MissA

Just spent a bit under £3 on 2 kilos of oats and £1.50 on a coffee. Need to chicken on the way home. Had to drop something off at school mid-morning.

Will probably spend about £4 on chicken.

New supermarket by school is making life easier. It's the one I use for things like meat and fish as others don't refrigerate properly. I should be able to save about £12 per week in petrol and tolls. There is less need to go to the city now.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/11/2014 15:46

They don't refrigerate well in a hot country like that? That's so dangerous.

Imeldainthemustardcoat · 03/11/2014 15:52

MyGhostIsFlummoxed · 03/11/2014 16:54

I've failed miserably this month so far £70 food on Saturday, £20 birthday presents Sunday, £4.10 bus fair today...I suppose it is going in the right direction at least.

girliefriend · 03/11/2014 16:54

£2.70 on a drink and some biscuits!

Got my graduation tomos - wish me luck!!

Sixforgold · 03/11/2014 17:29

Congrats girlie!

It's been a NSD - 1/15! On the way home I was thinking of alice's wise words to increase NSDs by having an errand day. I started to plan spends this week and as I know I have to pay our cleaner on Thursday my plan is to hold out til then. I have already mentally decided not to...go swimming tomorrow, buy some invites to a party, pay the balance of my works Christmas do and buy an onion!

Frugal things: left-over pork from roast yesterday is turning into a yummy cider casserole in the slow cooker

Enjoy girlie! What will you be after graduation?!

Was going to be NSD but went to sainsburys as tu was having the last day of 25% so spent £8 on 4 tops for dd. She does need them. I might save them for Christmas.

Tomorrow will be cleaners £36. And nothing else. Will be at work as usual. Wednesday-Friday will be travelling, work has booked the trains etc so maybe just lunch.

ItalianWiking84 · 03/11/2014 19:08

Christmas has finally been planned and we have found a home that can have us all... Halloween Grin now we just need to agree on who brings what Halloween Smile I loooove Christmas

banananugget · 03/11/2014 19:38

Good luck with the graduation!

NSD here. I'm usually good for the first couple of weeks in the month then overspend the rest of the month!

Need to make a proper list for remaining presents so I don't overspend (as usual).

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/11/2014 19:56

I hope it goes well girlie.

£6 on perfume parlour.

fuzzpig · 03/11/2014 19:58

£4 bus fare to and from work. That's it :)
