Does checkout smart work on online shopping receipts? Anyone know?

Planning on taking kids swimming and park today. .. £5ish. Not too bad!

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/06/2014 11:23

I really don't know, it's worth trying isn't it?

ok yesterday spent £13 in sainsburys for something for tea and a few bits to top up.

I also bought ynab - missed the 75% offer but got at 25% instead so today in between assessment marking and report writing will be setting that up. therefore should be a nsd today.

I would also complain about short dates I have before with asda and got money back.

SpottyTeacakes · 29/06/2014 12:53

£10.30 for taxi to go out for family lunch. DH paid for lunch.

Hoping for NSD tomorrow, but may need to pay for DS costume.

CremeEggThief · 29/06/2014 21:44

Travel, lunch out and cinema today for me and DS cost about £42. A lovely treat :).

NK5BM3 · 29/06/2014 23:26

Baked, cooked, washed. And went to a jazz concert. £10 on the cd. Happy week ahead everyone!

Will take note re the cash back sites when renewing!! I don't have a lot of time though. Hope dh gets on ball.

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 30/06/2014 00:31

£9.30 on groceries top up.

£5.70 parking.

Otherwise no spends, pretty pleased with that! Tomorrow guaranteed to be an NSD as I'm in work 08.30-23.30.

AdoraBell · 30/06/2014 02:52

My word MissAnnersely that's a long work dayShock

Had to get groceries today, £45-ish, will need more in a few days but not sure what yet. Need to meal plan, DD1 has requested fish and pork chops for this week. DD2 now needs white wool in addition to what we bough yesterday.

Glad you and DS had a nice day out Creme

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/06/2014 16:20

PeoniesforMissAnnersley it will pay well I'm sure & be worth it.

£20 petrol.
£9 Dh's vitamin supplements.
£7 on food in morrisons but I should get £6.18 back off tcb snap'n'save for two packs of birds eye burgers & the mustard. Tcb snap hasn't been kind to me in the past so it might not work.

Morrisons honour the offers on markdowns, I bought two packs of sliced up chicken for 99p each and they knocked a £1 off at the till! I thought only waitrose did that.

creme I'm glad you enjoyed your day out Smile

Waiting to see if checkoutsmart likes my online order. ...

£3.50 ish on kfc chicken and a coke. I ate my lunch at 9.30am as was hungry...oops lol. I got V V V cold swimming with dc yesterday (well being in guard in icy water rather than swimming) and it mucked up my metabolism. ..thats my excuse anyway

Big job cuts coming my way by the end of April. I have about 60% chance of keeping a post I recon

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 30/06/2014 17:08

Eurgh school uniform first experience and not brought it all yet n £50 down only one logo jumper n 2 logo polo shirts.

Logo joggers for pe I think not at £16 a pair my child will have just turned 4 and can have Sainsbury black joggers!!

SpottyTeacakes · 30/06/2014 19:26

Nsd

NK5BM3 · 30/06/2014 19:32

Prescription £8 for my asthma inhalers. Never had to have one in 3 years but they've run out since this hay fever has been so bad. Shock
I get cheap antihistamines from Aldi.

£4.50 school dinners for ds. £1.98 for 3 for 2 cakes at sainsburys.

FantaSea · 30/06/2014 19:58

east that is expensive for uniform! The school DD went to had logo polo shirts and when she started I bought them, then when she needed new ones I just got plain white ones from asda. I think you are right about the joggers, that is a lot especially when they are only on once or twice a week.

I used to find asda good for uniform, and often got bits on the 3 for 2 offers.

CremeEggThief · 30/06/2014 20:43

£4.28 in Lidl. DS is away until Wednesday evening, on a school residential trip. Then they have their transition day at secondary school Thursday.

They don't stay little for long :(.

AuditAngel · 30/06/2014 22:25

Fanta at our school they are only allowed logo polo shirts, no plain ones. Same for jumpers/cardigans. Polo shirts £6.50 each, jumpers about £13.

I added up the uniform list for the secondary we want DS to go to, about £300! I can probably save a bit by buying shirts and trousers elsewhere, once in check they are comparable. But the £35 compulsory backpack seems steep.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/06/2014 22:37

I think it cost our relatives that much Audit, and we aren't near London.

Do the schools get anything out of all this logo stuff? It just seems so excessive to spend this sort of money on clothes.

OP posts:
FantaSea · 30/06/2014 22:42

Audit £35 for a backpack! Everything is so expensive.

CremeEgg you're right, they don't stay little for long. DD has just left school and it seems like only yesterday she was just starting hope your DS had a great time on his trip, I expect he will be bursting to tell you all about it Smile

AdoraBell · 01/07/2014 03:11

I can delude myself that mine are staying little despite DD1 being as tall as me now because they don't change schools here.

Spent another £42-ish today, food, more wool and a thing to bung in the kettle to keep the limescale down. DH chucked the other one out with the broken kettle. In the interim they've gone from £2 to £5.50Angry I wasn't going to get one but I'm currently descaling the kettle every 5 days. Tomorrow I need to get cheap clothes for school next week.

NK you've reminded me I need cake/something sweet for school on Wednesday. Hope your hay fever calms down soon.

Creme hope DS has a great trip.

I started a new thread for July, but I can't link from my phone. Look for Jacket Potato July! I couldn't think of anything else frugal-themed with a J.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 01/07/2014 16:36

I know uniform costs shocked me I don't spend that much on my work clothes!!

SpottyTeacakes · 01/07/2014 16:38

Dd's school jumpers are £7.50 each and £5 for PE top. Rest can be generic. Her logo tops start at 4-5 though and she's generally in 2-3 Hmm
