Bought an enormous bunch of daffs in M&S yesterday for £3 and am smiling every time I see them.

Twinings Earl grey costs less than a fiver for a big box.

A cup of coffee and a muffin in Starbucks.

3 books for a pound in our local charity shop.

What else? Inspire me please! :)

Lindt chocolate with caramel and sea salt

Bunch of tulips.

Lush solid shampoo which leaves my hair gleaming

Fresh Chelsea bun from the local bakery

Bird feeder outside my window covered in goldfinches (technically costs more than 5 cos I have to refill it)

Tiger bread/ciabatta and lurpak

Good coffee

Dove soap

Books (from charity shop/library)

seeds which grow

sending and recieving postcards (not sure how much stamps are, but i think its less than £5)

nail varnish

random kitchen gadgety stuff from quid shop (like my new spud peeler that catches the peelings) some might be utter shite but i enjoy trying them out .

my fishes (technically as a whole it cost hundreds to put together but a new fish -or three- on the rare occasion i buy them costs less than a fiver)

Oh yes to Lindt sea salt and the caramel salt one is brilliant too.

And tiger bread and Lurpak is a genius suggestion!

A new bottle of Geranium essential oil (usually around three quid). Smells gorgeous with a few drops on a tissue on the radiator. Or Grapefruit oil depending on mood.

A bottle of cold coke on a hot day. Especially on the train or in the car going home.

A good cup of black coffee on the 99% of British days that are not hot.

My hamster, he was only £4.95. He is so lovely, he makes a little nest out of my hair and goes to sleep on my shoulder.

Lots of my kindle books.

Balls of wool to knit with.

Sitting in my friend's cosy kitchen with a cup of coffee and some homemade cakes having a good chat.

A warm shower and slipping into pyjamas before snuggeling up on the sofa under a blanket with a good book.

A jar of nutella and a teaspoon

Brand new woollen kneesocks (not the height of fashion but oh so soft and cosy)

A bottle of Gallo White Zinfandel wine (only under a fiver when on offer though, but when it is on offer it makes me extra happy)

A bunch of daffs or tulips - guaranteed to make me smile for days

Even better than a jar of Nutella and a teaspoon - a jar of Nutella and a packet of Digestives to dip in it! :)

A walk in the country.

Watching the sea on a stormy day.

Getting into a clean bed, after a shower, with a cup of tea, some chocolate and a good book.

Bag of Maltesers.

Looking at a picture of George, the best cat ever, who sadly died when he was only eight months old . Dd got me one of those big canvas pictures of him, and although it makes me sad, it also makes me really happy and I'm forever sighing over it and saying "oh, he was so cute".

Great idea. Yes yes to fresh flowers, clean bedding and pyjamas and a good trashy novel!
I 'd add a new conditioner for my hair (always in the hope it will end up glossy!) coffee and cake in the local garden centre and clearing all the rubbish / notices / drawings off the fridge and notice board - that makes me feel calm and in control ( for about a day!).

Ooooh yes, I love Badedas. Did want to put it but have only found the large bottle for over £10 in our local shops so did not think it would count as it is definately over £5!!
