Side effects of the latest Covid jab

What, if any, side effects are people experiencing?

I had the jab at 4pm on Saturday. By 8pm I could not keep my eyes open (I normally don't go to bed until 11pm at the earliest and hardly ever fall asleep watching tv).

Even going to bed at 8.30pm and sleeping fairly well I didn't wake yesterday until 8am and still felt so tired. My arms and legs were aching and I felt sick. I actually slept most of the day and only had a piece of toast to eat which I brought back up.

Today I haven't stayed in bed but am still really tired but the most annoying thing is that everything tastes strange. I am a big tea drinker but at present it tastes vile. DH cooked egg and chips for tea which is one of my favourite meals and it was just horrible and tasted weird.

Just hoping this isn't going to last long

Had flu jab about a week ago and Pfizer/Comirnaty yesterday. I've been feeling tired all week so can't blame that on the Covid booster. I'm not sure it's related to the flu jab either, as surely it wouldn't last so long. I've got a sore arm and that's about all at present. That's the least I've had for side effects.

Had mine today, well yesterday. Feel like crap, can't sleep, feel sick, ache but definitely worth it to be vaccinated. Small price to pay. Mine was Pfizer .

No side effects from bivalent Moderna booster with flu jab except arm a little sore overnight. But felt much worse after third Pfizer

I had my 4th booster (Pfizer Bivalent) on Monday afternoon. Usual tiredness and aches and pains for c. 24 ish hours. But now I have a painful armpit (lymph node?) which started on Tuesday. Anyone else had this and when did it subside?

Thanks for this thread! I’m taking mum to have her flu jab tomorrow, thought I’d get mine done too so we’ve got consecutive appointments. It’s at a place that also does walk in Covid jabs so I was wondering what the cumulative side effects are of doing both at the same time.

Reading the thread it seems like it’s pot luck, so will give it a go if we can. Some years I’m fine with the flu jab, others I feel a bit ropey for 36 hours. Similarly for Covid I was fine for the first two (AZ, achy arm only) but was quite rough with the third (Moderna). Had a day off work sick and slept for what felt like 24 hours. Right as rain after, very strange.

At least I’ll have the weekend to recover this time.

Not me but a 66 year old i know. Nausea and dry retching so bad he cracked a rib. Bruising has come out on his side

Had 4th jab (2 Astra, 2 Pfizer) with flu jab on Saturday, aching arm for a couple of days, then period pain and bleeding (have been on HRT for a year) on Tuesday and diarrhoea that was very chemical smelling (sorry if TMI) Thursday. Same symptoms as with first jab.
