Anecdotal, but a large percentage of my (vaccinated) acquaintances are reporting positives. Some are getting Covid for first time. Anyone else hearing same? These are not catching it from each other. Do you think immunity is waning?

3 out of 4 of my team have it at the moment. I had Delta in October and am triple vaccinated but won't be having any further jabs so who knows, probably catch it at again at some point. It was very mild for me last time so I'm not bothered about getting it again from an illness perspective but I could do without the inconvenience!

I know three people with it currently, all first timers.

The latest variants are apparently good at infected noobs - people with no previous infection history.

I know a few people who have it at the moment, but no-one who had (what I assume was) BA2 in the last wave in March/April.

I keep thinking 'I must start wearing masks in busy shops again' and then leaving the house without one. How quickly habits break! I'm not overly concerned about getting it as when I had it it was just like any other nasty virus, but I just don't have time for a week off work and a slow recovery. It wasn't fun.

Todays data - rolling 7 day average, info up to 20/06 England only, has hospital admissions at 6050. Which would be 864 people per day if evenly distributed.

There is no immunity!! Just like colds have different variants and you only get some immunity for that actual strain
