Anyone have covid right now?

Hi everyone,
Just wondered if there was anyone else currently with Covid, I suffer from anxiety and sitting alone in my room isolating really isn't helping. Im only on day 2.
So far I've had a very sore throat and my nose feels slightly congested.
I would love to have a covid pal to get through these difficult and lonely few days. GrinWink

My brother and his wife just had a change of taste when they had it and absolutely no other symptoms.
Its just so strange how it effects everyone.
Either way I would not want thus nasty again. Oh god its been draining.

Day 6/7 for me and after feeling a bit better two days ago, I’m now back to bed with really inflamed chest and absolute fatigue. I completely thought I was getting better. Symptoms are constantly changing. Oxygen levels fine, just can’t seem to shake this thing.

My son has it day 2..clear runny nose, sore throat and croupy cough. My mum finally tested negative on day 9...and zoe app shows cases have risen in my london borough by 781 in last week 😳..new strain?

Isn’t there a combo of delta and omicron now? Very virulent whatever it is !

Day 5 for me. Day 1 was the worst so far….like an extreme hangover with a fever and a couple of vommiting episodes. Day 2 only a very sore throat then day 3&4 head cold minus headache but hoarse voice. Sore throat stopped me sleeping.

Now day 5 still congested with cough but sore throat gone, temp down but can’t taste/smell much…and feel a little light headed/dizzy - anyone had that symptom?

@xx18921 yes I feel lightheaded/dizzy today (day 6) it’s my main symptom now apart from the lingering cough.

@Millicent2022 I only really had a reaction after my first jab, second and third just a bit of a sore arm.

@takeyourcanvasbag thanks, having read the thread it seems a few folk have it. Makes me feel a little better it's part and parcel. Hope it all goes soon...feel like I'm in a weird limbo!

Yes, on day 6 and 7 Millicent. I then had altered taste and smell following it.

Day 10 today! Test is Neg today but still do have lingering symptoms. Confused
It was my first day out of isolation today. Tested positive the whole time, so no early release. Wouldn't have wanted to go out anyway as I felt really quite poorly. Still getting breathless now which is horrible, bit of a cough lingering too. It's been worse than I expected it to be tbh!

Mine started with an awful sore throat and bad head. I'd say it was the worse sore throat I've ever had. Lasted a couple of days before it moved to my chest.

I tested positive on Monday, had a sore throat overnight and thought I'd do test just in case. Very blocked nose, cough, sore joints and back, fever, and can't sleep. If I lie on my stomach I feel fine, whenever I turn around or get up, symptoms start again. So strange. Think the anxiety of not knowing how long or how bad it is going to be is the worst of it.

My test is negative this morning! I feel a lot better but have an upset stomach now.

Day 5. Still strong positive test but feel much better. Still a few cold symptoms and tired if I do too much but definitely better!

Day 6, still a strong positive. Less congested just light headedness, bit if a cough, no taste/smell.

Struggling to eat, breast milk supply low for 5 month old who is bunged up...v.stressful.

Hi all.

Just tested positive this morning.

Mild cold so far.

Going to give the thread a read as I'm really hoping I stay in my mild cold state.

DH and DC all had Covid in November and I didn't catch it even looking after them all. So this has surprised me a bit.

Have had 3 jabs (most recent being end of December.)

I've felt a bit tired for the last 2 days. And then a little coldy yesterday but LFT negative- then today positive straight away.
