What's your Daily Announcement going to be?

having given up on Boris' announcements, I wondered if anyone else fancies making one. 5pm timing optional but you can leave everyone waiting for hours first if you prefer.

@MrsWooster I would like to report that the bags are of a decent quality and size. I will research further the packing capacity and will report back. The lack of wrapping paper and sellotape plus the ability to cope with weird shapes is a positive.

Do I label them with said fabric pens then allow the kids to 'decorate' using their creativity? Will this just cause chaos?

I want to start by acknowledging how tired cat was today. Early information showed that sleeping cat was about to fall off sofa. This is important for decision makers. Let me answer some questions, The answer is straightforward, the small percentage of cats falling off the sofa can translate into a larger numbers. The key metric we need to know is uncertain. Cat has been repositioned safely. It's too early to know if this will be sustained. The increased rate of falling off sofa has certainly decreased. I am drinking Japanese gin (Raku gin) with Valencian Orange tonic (Fentimans).

It tastes like bog-standard gin and tonic with a slice of orange. I was seduced by the very pretty bottle and the fact it was Japanese. But hey, it's still gin and tonic! Gin

If it was our Lidl then sorry my DH bought their last 4 earlier. But he didn't buy any toffee yumyums so he needs to do better next time too. Wink

Big up the people who feel ill right now with the super turbo cold. With view of the continuing uncertainty bring all you medication to mine and we will have a convalescent party and feel sorry for ourselves. We must try and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year right now despite the overwhelming phlegm. I'm very excited by this as we can only hope for super immunity. Stop the panic. The time is now before the possible tougher restrictions implemented after December 25. So grab your Phlegmsip, Nurofed up, StrepBsils, Clarithrformysins and cofiend and come over. I’m not a violent person but there may have been a scrap in the aisle if I was there for that trickery, their cheese twists are top tier!

Sadly and with dismay I must inform you all that DS has been contacted as a close contact of a positive case and we have 3x pcr tests booked for tomorrow …..however, on a brighter note DD is out of her isolation at midnight. This does not mean we can relax, alas no, in fact we must exercise caution and be vigilant of this beast of a virus. On that basis we need to ditch jab, jab, jab for gin, gin, gin!

Breaking News - I forgot to buy the cheese today, there will be an official announcement at 5pm or whenever i can be arsed to wander in and waffle a bit. I'm expected to say that alas, I have forgotten to buy the cheese and this is a worrying time for all concerned, and we must pull together. There is no cheese today, there may be cheese later, or there may be cheese tomorrow, or possibly today, that we must have the cheese, but must also do without the cheese. However, the overriding sentiment is

                <strong>NO.FUCKING.CHEESE</strong>

and thus shall be the new 3 word slogan until I change it randomly to GOT.FUCKING.CHEESE
