Feeling dreadful after booster

I still encourage others to get their booster od course, but is anyone else feeling utterly dreadful?
Everything from the arm up hurts, pounding head, feel sick, earache (???) And feel like I have been sedated

I'll for a week after Pfizer. Dragged myself on holiday for a couple of days but obviously wasn't well enough because I then seized up and became completely exhausted and nauseous again on both evenings. I was ill during the night and crashed once home. Asides from the heart arrhythmia, I've had strange burning pins and needles too.

I was in bed for three days, just back to normal self today since the Moderna booster Tuesday evening. Felt terrible, like having a mini covid (this time last year I had covid and had it very badly)

Just to give a positive story to those reading, I was really ill for a couple of days after my first AZ jab and I was told I would likely be similar after moderna. I had it a few days ago and have been absolutely fine, nothing more than a slightly sore arm, and that was only when I lifted it. So it isn’t a given you’ll have side effects from moderna.

I had my third jab of Pfizer on Thursday morning, arm hurt later in the day. Woke up very early on Friday feeling awful, worse than any flu - aches and pains everywhere, couldn't eat. Fever in the evening. Saturday still tired and a bit achey. Today I feel almost normal.

Yep, had Moderna early yesterday morning, started to feel iffy at 4pm, was in bed by 6. Have felt awful all night, shivers, hot and cold, aching, nausea and painful arm. Feel a bit “hit by a bus” this morning
Didn’t help that DD has a sickness bug, so I was up in the night with her too

I’m consoling myself with knowing I’ve had a decent immune response Grin

A bit of positivity to this thread, I had mine at 10am yesterday and haven't had any side effects (yet!), bar a slightly painful arm.

Same here NannyR had Moderna at 10.20 and been ok so far, just got a sore arm which I never had with AZ but been taking paracetomols just in case.

Had mine Friday (Moderna) and fine for 24 hours… then whack, like been hit by a bus. Whole range of symptoms whereas on other jabs think was just tired and had sore arm. This is my first Moderna. Hoping over soon! (Also still would rather get the jabs any day of the week)

Had Pfizer booster yesterday morning. Been feeling a bit feverish, chilly and tired, especially yesterday. It also slightly aggravated my tinnitus for a few hours. Still have a slightly sore arm and now an armpit lump, and feeling chilly again.

Felt much worse after first AZ jab though.

Had the booster yesterday morning - they didn't tell me if it was Pfizer or Moderna, and I forgot to ask. Began aching slightly almost immediately afterwards, and by the evening was also feeling drowsy. I've had a difficult night, waking frequently, and am still aching like I've been doing very vigorous exercise. No headache, though.

2xAZ then Moderna on Saturday morning. Felt fine until the evening when my arm was agony. Ima me to move it at all and I’m are able to have it touched, even by clothes. Huge egg like lump at injection site.
Felt achey and sick on Sunday, arm still bad .
This morning I feel much better in myself, arm has improved but is still unusable and still have large lump on it, just not quite as sensitive to touch. I need to try and drive later but am not sure that is going to be possible.

Had my booster sat midday and felt fine for 24hrs, just aching arm overnight Saturday. Then yesterday lunchtime felt exhausted and splitting headache all afternoon and evening, went to bed at and slept through til 6 and now feeling fine. Arm slightly tender to touch but otherwise no problem x

2x Az, then Pfizer. Felt ill with flu like symptoms after 1st for 24hrs, absolutely fine after 2nd but with booster felt ill for about 5 days; achey, sore arm and headache.

I had moderna last weds and felt awful, it rumbled on and on so did a test and I'm bloody positive Angry I did feel briefly better 24 hours after the booster before felt ill again.

Had Pfizer booster on Saturday and felt fine until early hours of Sunday. Full body aches, hot and cold shivers and awful night-sweats.

SP reporting in...all of my symptoms have gone away except the injection site is somewhat tender...so it seems like a 72 hours thing unless you'd like to stretch it out a bit..I tend to not give in to anything that is causing me to not feel well, but this time I decided not to push myself and took an extra day off from life.

I had moderna yesterday after 2 x AZ.
Started to feel cold yesterday evening and then full on shivers and shakes going to bed. Then got up to be sick.

Still feeling cold today. Hoping a better nights sleep tonight will sort it.

I had 2 Pfizer’s and was fine. Moderna booster yesterday evening and felt awful in the night- queasy, hot and cold. Today I have felt freezing, achy, headache and knackered. Would have gladly stayed in bed if I didn’t have 2 young dc and a one year old lab. It’s been about 24 hours since my jab now and I’m definitely feeling better so am hoping for a good night sleep tonight!

Updating my earlier post to say that my arm is more sore after the Moderna booster. One day on and I think it's easing up.
