I still encourage others to get their booster od course, but is anyone else feeling utterly dreadful?
Everything from the arm up hurts, pounding head, feel sick, earache (???) And feel like I have been sedated

Yep, lasted about 3 days. Fuzzy head, head ache, fatigue.

I had no side effects after 1 & 2 AZ but Pfizer booster side effects were not good.

Hope you feel better soon.

howley1 · 18/12/2021 21:08

I felt awful for 24 hours then it suddenly just ended.

shalalala · 18/12/2021 21:09

I feel utterly dreadful after mine. Sore throat, aches, cough, cold etc - convinced I had actual covid but had a negative PCR

Feel better soon

Gunpowder · 18/12/2021 21:10

Exactly the same as howley1 felt awful for 24 hours and then completely fine.

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 18/12/2021 21:10

Fatigue, nausea, aches and pains, headaches. Pfizer 3 days after booster. Hoping tomorrow is better and I get some energy back.

DameCelia · 18/12/2021 21:12

Pfizer booster left me feeling dreadful for five days.

SirVixofVixHall · 18/12/2021 21:14

Eeek. Mine is on Monday, I thought i would go for Pfizer as Moderna seems to hit people like a brick, but now not so sure !

Terribleluck · 18/12/2021 21:14

I can't feel my arm :(

NannyR · 18/12/2021 21:16

How long after the booster did the side effects kick in? I had moderna at 10am and touch wood, I've only got a slightly sore arm so far - do you think I've been lucky or might it start tonight?

SickAndTiredAgain · 18/12/2021 21:17

I had Pfizer booster yesterday morning (had Pfizer for first doses as well) and my arm was very painful last night but now just a little sore. I had a headache and was very tired and achey today, plus mild nausea. I’m pretty much fine this evening, just mild headache and a bit tired, plus just a general low level sense of illness - like you get when you’re first coming down with something. Based on my first two jabs I’ll be ok by tomorrow, I had similar reactions to them (although much worse nausea than this time).

Sonex · 18/12/2021 21:17

I had a hard time with first AZ. had Pfizer booster, nothing except minor sore arm. Its so variable.

LittleBabyCheeses · 18/12/2021 21:19

I felt absolutely horrific after my booster, like I’d been hit by a train. Fluey, achey limbs, headache, shivering. Far worse than when I had covid! I had the Moderna booster after Pfizer initial doses.

Lulu1919 · 18/12/2021 21:20

I had Pfizer booster Wednesday afternoon
Possibly slightly achy lower back...but nothing that a ibuprofen didnt sort out after 20 mins..not even a sore arm !?!?

I had Moderna at 10am last week and I started feeling odd at 9 o'clock, then started shiver and shaking, I managed to watch I'm a celebrity, shivering under a duvet before going to bed. Hope you will be ok

I didn't get a choice...turned up and was told it was Pfizer...had AZ for main jabs
NotTheGrinchAgain · 18/12/2021 21:21

I've had no side effects except a slightly sore arm. Pfizer.

BettyfromBristol · 18/12/2021 21:22

Really achey and sick for 24 hours here. Never been so grateful to feel ill.

H1978 · 18/12/2021 21:22

I had mine this afternoon and the symptoms kicked in within 30 minutes. Got a headache and feeling a bit fuzzy headed but not too bad as taking painkillers. I had Pfizer, 2x az previously.

I had my booster at 10am. Woke up at about 2am shivering and feeling like I’d been hit by a train.
KitBumbleB · 18/12/2021 21:24

I had Moderna yesterday lunch time, felt absolutely fine. Around 4pm started to feel a bit run down. By 9pm I was in bed but couldn't sleep because my arm hurt so much.
Felt run down all day, about 2 hours ago I suddenly felt utterly dreadful, like I had been beaten up from the chest up and sedated at the same time.

Yes had Moderna me and hubby both awful for 3-4 days and now I have a massive cold sore outbreak. Didn't help I had my period too

Slept for a whole day every unlike me

SwtPeasOnEarth · 18/12/2021 21:24

I had the Moderna booster yesterday...woke up this morning with all over body aches, fever, chills, headache, tender lymph nodes, and very tender arm at the injection sight....I had Pfizer for the first 2 jabs, but it wasn't available for the booster.

JML001 · 18/12/2021 21:25

I had the Pfizer Thursday at 3.30 and woke up at 4am in agony. Back, hips and knees all aching. Had to stay in bed Friday til 3pm and still dont feel quite right. Plenty of water and paracetamol and vitamin D.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 18/12/2021 21:26

I had Moderna last weekend. Shivers hit at 9pm. Couldn’t watch IMACGMOOH so went to bed and shivered and shook all night. No sleep. Lasted a few days. Take paracetamol regularly.

Lifeispassingby · 18/12/2021 21:28

Had my booster today at midday- Pfizer for all jabs so far. Feel ok so far, slight tenderness in the top of my arm but otherwise wouldn’t know it had been done x
