PCR turnaround times please

I’m waiting for a PCR test result at the moment. I’m in South Yorkshire. Took the test yesterday at 10:30 and was told 1-3 days.
How long are results taking at the moment for everyone else?

I was tested 1pm Thursday, and got my result 5.30pm yesterday. Was negative, phew. Hope yours is too

I did a postal test on Wednesday morning. I'm still waiting

And still don't have it back

Apparently postal tests take ages at the minute - I know some who has been waiting three days so far. If you’re an essential worker they seem to come back faster.

4 days here... Thinking it might be lost.

South Yorkshire here too. Went to the testing drive thru at meadowhell this morning. Really hoping to get my result tomorrow morning.

I'm in West Yorkshire, did drive through test at 9:00 yesterday and result came in ten minutes ago. So 27 hours ish.

Fingers crossed for a negative result for you soon.

South Yorkshire here to, tests done yesterday at 10am, still waiting.

Sw and its been nearly 48 hours.

4 of us tested on Thursday 1.30. Results back between 24-27 hrs. Mix bag of results - positive, negative, inconclusive. (Inconclusive person has been retested today so currently on second stint of waiting for results).

Forgot to say it was a drive through in Kent.

I was tested yesterday at 9 in a West Midlands drive through and had my results before 9 this morning.

18 hours. Test at midday yesterday, results 6am today.

Did a postal Thursday, sent off midday, not back yet.

Those that have done a postal one - have you tracked it on royal mail? 2 days later and mine still haven't appeared at the testing center.

Had mine done at 16.30 on Thursday, still waiting for a result...am expecting a positive one though. We are in Gloucester.

So it took 48 hours to reach them

My postal test was 27 hours on Wednesday - result Thursday. Down South though...
