How long for PCR results?

How long has it taken for everyone's PCR results to come back recently???

Yep that’s the one. We were there at 1.30pm. Fingers crossed they come through soon 🤞🤞

Tested yesterday 10:00
No results yet... drive through test centre.
Daughter had tested positive on lateral flow...
really hoping for a false positive !! 😩😩

Got mine and DC’s results back about half an hour ago.
One positive, one negative and one inconclusive.
The fourth test is DP’s which was booked at same time but his results are going to him whereas mine and DC’s results came back to me within quick succession.
Back to the test site tomorrow to redo DD’s.

Tbh my lateral flow was very positive so I'm just assuming it's a positive and isolating.
Im using the time to potter in th e garden and getting everything tidied for winter.

Hope you’re not waiting too long. There’s still no sign of DP’s even the test was at the same time and in the same car .

Had the test at 10am yesterday morning in South Yorkshire, still waiting now!

Four of us went yesterday, 10.30 for a test. All booked together (I did it) but I put my husband's email address by his details, my email by the others. His came back at about 28 hours. Ours are not back - why?!

I am driving myself mad thinking they have lost ours. But why would they - they were all in the same batch.

I fear it's just a formality - myself and my daughter have had positive LFT's and I have symptoms

We’re in exactly the same situation. We’ve got back mine and the DCs but DP is still waiting - he’s starting to get twitchy.

It's so strange isn't it @DrunkenKoala. I booked them all together under the initial booking when it says "do you want to book anyone else in"?

We booked the tests on Weds evening and took the tests Thursday afternoon. Mine and DC’s results back just over 24hrs later but DP still waiting. The three results came back very close together - within about 5 mins and were an absolute mix bag - one positive, one negative and one inconclusive.
Yes it’s very strange how they send the results back. I’m wondering if it’s done in alphabetical or numerical order - my email address starts with J, DP’s starts with T. My phone number starts 077, DP’s starts with 078.

We’re in the south east in Kent.

I'm almost certain I have covid (I have symptoms plus positive LFT). Did a drive-through PCR yesterday midday but no result yet.

Nothing unusual in that..except my wife & daughter went to the same site a few hours later than me and got their (negative) results back early this morning.

I'm wondering if positive results take longer because they are checking whether it is Omicron? No idea if that's actually the case. Obviously I'm isolating in the meantime.

Tested Monday, posted for 3.45 collection, results weds around 6am

That’s great, at least you can get on with things now.

Yes missing result came through about two hours ago, negative also. So just got to redo DD’s in the morning, then probably sit it out for the weekend.

Home postal test - Tested 16:00, Posted 17:30 yesterday (16/12/2021) and result 19:10 today (17/12/2021). Package was tracked as far as Jubilee Mail Centre, so I guess went to a lab in London.

About 22 hours

Me again were now at 80 hours our pcr test was showing on tracking as being at Peterborough track and trace, lord know what they doing with it, we’ve now done a second posted in the same pox box at 5 o’clock today so watch this space.

I tested on Tuesday and didn’t get my results back until 6pm this evening 😭 Bloody negative (as the lfts suggested they would be) I was I’ll though so wasn’t really able to go out in that time.
