@AdmiralCain it’s clear you’re passionate about your POV, but unfortunately, for me, your reliance on fiction as your basic starting point reveals a bias that is far, far to large to ignore. You’re starting from a point that you’re looking for dystopian undercurrents therefore the evidence you find and present will fit that narrative. Your mixing up a lot of different issues and shoehorning them under one heading.
You’re not neutral. Few of us are and we’re all vulnerable to confirmation bias but occams razor is applicable. It’s ok for there just to be gaps of knowledge requiring answers, they don’t have to filled if there isn’t an answer yet/at all.
