@cruffin

Where is it on?
Cbeebies after Peppa pig .😁
PutmeontheNaughtyList · 30/11/2021 16:16

They’ve just mentioned the 4th dose…..

Imfedupwithallofthis · 30/11/2021 16:16

@Dogatetheleftovers

Beth Rigby on Sky News yesterday said that the JCVI had recommended that some clinically vulnerable will be advised to have a 4th jab. But I can’t see any mention of that elsewhere.
It was planned all along. 3rd primary dose plus a booster 6 months later.

Now it is planned for 3 months after 3rd primary dose.

Flapjacker48 · 30/11/2021 16:17

The head of the NHS has a really annoying, repetitive hand gesture.

JanglyBeads · 30/11/2021 16:18

Bribery is not going to magic up extra hospital or GP surgery staff, is it?

Katie517 · 30/11/2021 16:20

I really wish they would stop trying to blackmail people with Christmas, it’s a disgusting tactic and really needs to stop! I think we all know the majority of people will be seeing who they want this Christmas regardless of what they say so the narrative is really unnecessary.

Guacamole001 · 30/11/2021 16:20

"Vaccination centres opening up everywhere like Christmas trees". Boris has some strange literary ways...

ilovesooty · 30/11/2021 16:20

@CorrBlimeyGG

And Christmas is mentioned and the blackmail starts, 'get your jab (if you can get one) or we're cancelling Christmas'.
Yes, they couldn't resist that.

If they're so appreciative of the NHS they could try paying them properly.

TheExtraGuineaPig · 30/11/2021 16:21

Did they mention the 12-15 second dose?

ilovesooty · 30/11/2021 16:23

Be honest Johnson. You haven't expanded the mask requirements because you're scared of your backbenchers.

manolantern · 30/11/2021 16:25

Who's that coughing in the audience!!

Lussekatt · 30/11/2021 16:26

So basically, we will just wait and see how things go before we require masks in more places and maybe introduce WFH. As always, leaving it till the last minute. Boris and Saj, two absolute legends 👍

LumosSolem · 30/11/2021 16:27

100%, it's disgraceful.

So on one hand Boris distances himself from Harries' comments about Xmas socialising and the next, they're dangling Xmas around like a carrot.

CorrBlimeyGG · 30/11/2021 16:27

The response to the question about extremely clinically vulnerable group was disgusting. Basically, 'we've got better antivirals if you get ill'. For this group, once you're at the point of hospitalisation the damage is done, if covid doesn't kill you the damage done will.

It's bloody irresponsible.

Dogatetheleftovers · 30/11/2021 16:27

I still don’t understand why they don’t advise mask wearing in offices for example. Why are they necessary in supermarkets but not in a workplace?

LizzieSiddal · 30/11/2021 16:28

Oh gosh they’ve let some women in today! Saturdays conference had not a single woman asking or answering questions.Angry

Dogatetheleftovers · 30/11/2021 16:29

CorrBlimeyGG I was classed as CEV, got Covid and hospitalised twice. Now left with the awful effects of Long Covid. The thought of catching it again terrifies me and Bojo and Saj do not inspire any confidence!

StarryNightSparkles · 30/11/2021 16:32

@manolantern

Who's that coughing in the audience!!
It's the chief executive of the NHS. Shes looking at Boris and coughing into her hand/fingers spread wide. Lovely to see she is leading by example.
mommydragonn · 30/11/2021 16:32

I am wondering whether they will come on on the 17th and say schools will not be opening in Jan.

Dogatetheleftovers · 30/11/2021 16:33

StarryNightSparkles OMG, was she actually doing that?

StarryNightSparkles · 30/11/2021 16:34

@Dogatetheleftovers

StarryNightSparkles OMG, was she actually doing that?
Yeah she was, unbelievable 🤦‍♀️
PastMyBestBeforeDate · 30/11/2021 16:36

Not a chance @mommydragonn, that would smack of forward planning.

idiotfacelicker · 30/11/2021 16:36

Can anyone summarise anything useful said for those of us that can't bear to listen to Johnson speak?

Trounlet · 30/11/2021 16:37

I work in a GP surgery that has delivered vaccines (Covid or flu) nearly every weekend since 20th December last year, we stopped last weekend as our staff are knackered and our volunteers have gone back to their day job. We simply can't keep going without risking not being able to deliver general practice to our patients.

ilovesooty · 30/11/2021 16:37

They might let them go back for a day in January then shut them. Hmm
