What's the quickest you've had a PCR back?

DD had one at 8.30 this morning- wondering if there's any chance of an 8 hour turnaround so she can see school play this eve....

My dd had one at 9.30 this morning. They said we should get results by tomorrow but can take a few days

Quickest was within 24 hours.

Yesterday we were told it could be up to 3 days because their is such high demand right now.

4pm test returned by 6am next morning

I think thats unlikely unfortunately. Had one done at 9.30am last Thurs, had it back by 6.30am on the Friday and that's the quickest we've ever had.

11am yesterday. Results 6:30 this morning

10 hours at our local drive through has been our quickest time. Its normally 12 unless you get it in the afternoon then its the next morning.

I think it's very unlikely unfortunately, I've never had one back the same day (or in the evening). Quickest for us was a mid-afternoon test returned around 4am. Usually it's about 24 hours.

Thanks all. In which case I very hope for an overnight negative at least as having her at home whilst trying to work sucks.

15 hours, overnight.
Rest have been 17/19/24 hours.

I requested a home test on the Saturday, it arrived Sunday and was posted the same day, Results came on Monday morning.

I think you’d be really lucky to get one back so soon. Ours have all been between 20-36 hours.
You never know though. 🤞

16 hours was the fastest I've ever had.
But I've had a few recently, due to close contacts in the work place, and they all seem to take 36 hours, i.e. you have the test in the early afternoon on eg. Monday and the result is waiting for you when you wake up on Wednesday morning.

I got my result last week (positive) back in 11.5 hours.

My quickest was 7 hours. 8.30am test, 3.30pm result. I was amazed!

My previous ones have come back in under 24hrs. Waiting for one at the moment and it's been 23 hrs so far. Getting impatient!

Got DS tested around 3pm Sunday, had results by 7am Monday

Previously I've had results back from this site in 20-24 hours so I'm just hoping for freak speedy service!

quickest was a 7pm test back at 6am the next morning. i generally find that no matter what time my test is i get back at around 6-7am the next day

@Bells3032 yes there does seem to be a flurry of pre Dawn results doesn't there

Our quickest was 13 hours, a few weeks ago.

That was 8:30am test, 9:30 pm results

Posted test 10am Saturday - received results 8.40pm Sunday
