I am double jabbed, early 40's, reasonably healthy. I have just caught covid and feel horrendous. Every bone aches, chest hurst, migraines, hot sweats then freezing cold, runny nose, cough, loss of taste and smell. I am bed bound.
I rang in sick to work and they seemed peeved that I'm off sick on not wfh on laptop. I can't possibly look at a screen or think.
Work seem to think that most covid positive person are asymptomatic.
Is this right?
Am I the only one with symptoms after 2 jabs?
I honestly don't know why the vaccine hasn't worked.

Who else has contracted covid after vaccination and how bad did you get it?

Snap op -
Me and dh 40s double AZ jabbed, ill like fuckers with it.
I started a similar thread.

On the plus side, 13yo with one Pfizer jab didn’t “suffer”. Just a 2 day sniffle.

OP hope you recover sharpish. Had you been taking high strength vit d3 and other supplements eg zinc and vit c? I am sure these really help. The trouble is mainstream media does not make this loud and clear.

Triple jabbed and now positive for the second time. Feel awful, granted not as bad as the 1st time as that was the most frightening experience of my life, but still pretty shit this time

Sadly joining as I am in a real mess. Had 2nd AZ in May - whole family got it via kids but I’m the only one in a bad way. I’m on day 8 and although I am not having chest/breathing issues, have been in bed 3 days now with temperature and excruciating headaches and muscle pain. Also lost smell, horrible taste in my mouth and loud tinnitus.

I’m panicking as I suffer from chronic migraines and constant meds to try and dull the pain will create a new problem with rebound headache.

How long to turn the corner? Please tell me this will go away soon!!

Angry as frankly I feel like I was a sitting duck despite doing all I could to avoid getting this.

My son, 24 and double-jabbed with Pfizer, has it. His second dose was six months ago. He was jabbed early as he has coeliac disease. He is generally healthy and fit so I am just hoping it will be mild. He lives about an hour away.

I'm on day 1, double jabbed since May. Not too bad so far, just an aching behind my face (if that makes sense) and in my legs and a mild, tickly cough. I'm well aware it could get worse but hopefully it won't get too much worse. I caught it off my DD12 who has had symptoms of a bad cold plus a sore chest.

I had a positive LF today - won't get my PCR for a day or two so it could still be something else but I feel dreadful; muscles screaming in pain, head pounding, nausea, fatigue etc.
DD, 8 has the sniffles.
Also early 40s, OK health wise, healthy BMI and double jabbed.
I'm feeling pretty sorry for myself.
