Husband doesn't want to get vaccinated - but I do

I'm not vaccinated yet but plan to be this week, it's causing big problems at home as my husband would rather isolate to avoid catching it than get vaccinated. He has real concerns as he takes certain autoimmune medication, he is 50.
Of course I am my own person and can decide for myself, but we generally discuss life issues and agree. He doesn't want the children to go back to school for the first couple of weeks until we see if there's a spike. I want them to go back and be careful, they're 9 and 6.
How are you handling it when you don't agree as a family? There's no compromise!

Among my friends and family I have noticed that those who haven't been working outside the home during the pandemic have a much bigger stress/anxiety reaction to the thought of being out and about in society and tend not to want to go back to normal stuff like college or work. . Understandable of course. However I think he needs to realise that he cant impose his own choices on his DC for ever. It's tough for him as a vulnerable person but you and the DC need to live a normal life in terms of school and opportunities for the DC to develop outside interests.

he can do what he likes but the children need to go to school .He is being massively unreasonable and you know it.
The school can't authorise their absence for this reason and have no need to provide online learning either.
Waiting to see if there is a spike for a fortnight is ridiculous. Of course there'll be a spike! This winter will be very difficult for everyone and a lot of people will get ill but it is unfair for your children to miss out on school beause of your husband's refusal to get a vaccine.
