What's actually changing tomorrow?

Like really?
As far as I'm aware many restaurants, zoos attractions and supermarkets have made a social media statement saying they will be keeping restrictions on place ie booking online before, cashless, social distancing and masks are advised.
So WHAT IS actually going to be different from tomorrow?

Unless they are acting in a discriminatory fashion, private premises can set whatever rules they like as a condition of entry

Correct.

Denying someone service due to a health condition which prevents them wearing a mask is discrimination. So in the case of those who were formerly exempt (remember, you can't be exempt from a law which doesn't exist), there should be no issue.

This is directed at those who are absolutely adamant that businesses can deny entry to anyone who's not wearing a face covering, incidentally, not specifically you @Florelei!

Well I went out this morning to a few shops for bits and pieces. The garage/Little Waitrose, everyone still wearing masks. The vets, still one in one out policy, queue outside. Chemists, still one in one out, queue.

Going out to dinner tonight, will sit on the terrace.

Going to national trust place tomorrow, will wear masks, and they are still limiting numbers.

So actually not much has really changed at all.

@TheFormidableMrsC

I had to pop to our local town this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see that most people are still using masks. I think people are aware that this is a monumental fuck up 🤷🏻‍♀️
I don't think it is a fuck up at all. It is just time we all just got on with it, and it seems most people are, and in a cautious way. Brilliant.

@Gertie75

I'm curious as to how shops plan to 'encourage' mask wearing, I was reading an article earlier which had statements from all the well known supermarkets and they all said they would still encourage it.

Does anyone work at the supermarkets and know exactly what the plan is? Will they be stopping people at the door or refusing entry or just have signs up saying it's encouraged?

They didn't stop people entering without a mask, even when mask wearing was a legal obligation, so I suspect it will just be the same going forwards.

No worries @TheVampiresWife. We’ve ‘spoken’ a few times about this issue on here and I am aghast at some of the abuse you’ve suffered.
