Double vaccinated but had chills in the night. Slight headache this morning. DD has covid currently. This is positive isn't it?

...and just got my PCR back, positive.

Update: today's LFT absolutely clear positive (attached) ohwhydidtheydoit maybe you need to learn from this that LFTs can indeed be like pregnancy tests.

Yes they are a bit like pregnancy tests! My sister was asymptomatic, but doing weekly tests for work. She got the faintest hint of a positive just like your first test picture. The test got darker quickly over the following day or so. She remained asymptomatic throughout. Hope you and your family recover quick. Do you have many symptoms??

Looks positive to me. My colleague had a faint positive and PCR confirmed. Several days later I’ve got a faint positive, also PCR confirmed.

@AvaCallanach Hope you are feeling ok, I have to test twice weekly for work and my test came out darker than any pregnancy test I've ever taken! - it would of been easier the other way round! - It was confirmed + from a PCR the next day. I'm currently melting in a pity party of my own isolating away from the rest of the house in a heatwave 🌞 I'll have a gin for your bday when I can x

The instructions say a faint line is still a positive result.

I'd say negative. I saw hundreds of these useless fuckers during ridiculous school testing regime earlier this year.

A positive was clearly positive. It was a clear Y/N. It is not like a pregnancy test.

not correct Im afraid. Im a clinician and have seen a LOT of positive LFT tests and most of them have been very faint and looked like the one in the original post. All went on to have positive pcr. In fac I have only seen 2 (out of many , many tests) that had anything I would describe as more then a a very faint secontd line. I suspect the "hundreds of useless fuckers" you saw were very likely to be have been positive.

Just an aside to other posters... I still can't see the line in that first test!! Slightly worried now as we are self isolating after a contact was positive and happily doing negative LFTS every day... maybe I need better glasses.
