There could be all sorts of reasons to do that. Could be advertisements, brochures, training videos and lots of others. None of them related to pretending to be real people seriously ill in hospital with covid on the news.

I want to know why posters are not wanting to type COVID (COV!D) and China (Ch na)

Any ideas?!

A bit of a case of adding 2+2 and getting 99, isn't it?
knittingaddict · 22/09/2021 14:09

Well they obviously go looking and then fabricate the evidence BlueBlancmange. Bearing it mind that "crisis actors" are a common conspiracy theory and far right trope in the US I think we can see why this "evidence" has been concocted and spread on twitter.

@IncredulousOne

Presumably who works as an actor is more likely most to go on GMB after nearly dying than someone more reserved. Not sure why this means it's all a huge setup.

He's double amputee which seems an odd choice for a stooge as presumably you'd pick someone without any pre-existing conditions for such a role.

He also has social media where he posts about the long term lung damage he's now dealing with, seems like a huge commitment if not true (and you're assuming he's still being paid to carry on the charade? by who?)

knittingaddict · 22/09/2021 19:17

In the conspiracy universe nothing ever has a simple logical explanation, does it?

Well I think the problem is that we're all too thick to get it @knittingaddict Grin
knittingaddict · 22/09/2021 19:21

Yep, we're not seeing the patterns, which is what conspiracy theorists do. Somehow that's easier to deal with than the chaotic, randomnesss all around us.

Like I said, just a seriously unlucky guy who GMB just happened to stumble across for their interview...

And they never happened to mention him having a background in pretending to be a casualty during the interview. I mean if I was on this interview, I would maybe have said "and you know the really ironic thing is that I used to pretend to be sick for TV..." but instead he and they decided not to mention it.

I guess people will make up their own minds what they believe now that the truth is out there.

knittingaddict · 22/09/2021 21:29

Let's be clear here IncredulousOne, you really believe that an actor or actors were paid to pretend to have covid and be in hospital on oxygen? To what end? You don't think they could find another person who was actually in hospital with covid?

They've used his real name and was easy to find on a website. If that website is real of course, since there has been more than one case of anti vaxxers fabricating information. It appears that the other person mentioned on here as a fake covid sufferer was linked to a completely different person and therefore fabricated.

I really think your critical skills could be put to better use questioning what you see on Twitter and Facebook. Your "truth" seems very far from being true. You saying it does not make it so.

LeanneBrownsLonelyBraincell · 22/09/2021 21:31

I'm so magnetic after my jabs I'm too afraid to walk past the cutlery drawer

LeanneBrownsLonelyBraincell · 22/09/2021 21:33

@riveted1

vaccines altering DNA (Mrna does enter dna)

@sunnnysideup

eh?? we need a bit more context on this one! What do you mean?

mRNA definitely can't enter DNA as it makes literally no sense, do you mean enter the nucleus?

Would quite like some references for this as there's no precedent for 1) mRNA being able to get into the nucleus or once it does, 2) being converted back into cDNA (requires a special enzyme we don't have - reverse transcriptase), and 3) then integrating into your own DNA (again requires fancy enzyme we don't have - integrase)

Whoa steady on there, you sound like someone who actually knows stuff....

I'm just saying people will make their own minds up. What they decide to believe might or might not fit with the official narrative.

A bit like how there was no connection between the AZ vaccine and blood clots ... until enough people made a public noise about it that the public joined the dots - and then suddenly the experts realised that it was an issue that was worth investigating.

A bit like how there's absolutely no connection between vaccinations and menstrual changes ... up until the point where enough people made a public noise about it that the public joined the dots - and then suddenly the experts realised that it was an issue that was worth investigating.

It's not really a surprise that more and more people are starting to question the official narrative, is it?

knittingaddict · 22/09/2021 21:46

There's a huge difference between emerging knowledge about possible vaccine side effects and updating facts as data improves, and fake covid patients. Don't you think?

knittingaddict · 22/09/2021 21:46

In any case I know when I meet a lost cause, so I'm out.

Well, I think there's a huge difference between:

(1) a Government that constantly repeats the mantra "The vaccines are safe and effective: these blood clots are just coincidences. You should get your jab" while shutting out all dissenting opinions from the MSM,

(2) a Government that says "You know what this is new data: we're not sure because this has been pushed through asap under an EUA. Now that we've vaccinated the vulnerable, let's follow the established protocols and do some pharmacovigilance before we rush it our to the entire population"

Once you know you've been lied to about something important, it's difficult to take that person's (or Government's) word at face value ever again.

AlixandraTheGreat · 23/09/2021 00:57

If this pandemic has shown anything, it's proven how credulous people can be. Like yourself, @IncredulousOne! They will state they are "questioning everything" while spouting a line straight from a Facebook meme. They are the modern-day zombies - no thoughts of their own, reading from a script, unable to decipher reality from fiction, and set on converting others (the "sheep") to their cause. They want others to 'wake up' but it is they who are sleeping.

This thread is so saddening.

IncredulousOne · 23/09/2021 01:15

So, Alixandra...

Are you denying that the Government have been less than forthcoming when it comes to problems with the vaccines?

Are you denying that the Covid patient on GMB just happened to be an actor with experience of playing a medical casualty on his CV?

Did you notice how everyone was falling over themselves to vilify Trump for suggesting that the virus came from a lab in Wuhan and not a wet-market. Did you notice how 12 months later that is now a mainstream theory?

Or maybe you think I'm a sheep for stopping to think about the risk-benefit ratio of the jabs when the people who are selling them won't accept any liability for adverse effects?

Go ahead - please enlighten me as to what you think I've fallen for? Or maybe I just took the red pill instead of the blue pill. Don't worry, you can dismiss me if you want and then when you wake up you just go ahead and believe whatever you want to believe.

... You think it's one government?

(And the red pill nonsense from a mass media movie simply proves what I said.)

Are you suggesting that all people with COVID are crisis actors, or just this particular one or two?

Topseyt · 23/09/2021 02:24

@sunnnysideup

Many people still just don’t get it do they 🤦🏻‍♀️
So what do you "get" that is apparently eluding the rest of us mere mortals?

Do tell. 🤣

It’s a little known side effect of Covid or the vaccination.
