@Iloveasda1000

Nice lies *@Saltedcaramel78* Do you lie like that in RL? Or just on anonymous forums 🤔
@Iloveasda1000

What do you mean? That isn't a lie in the slightest, the proof is all archived in the threads (of the posts that weren't removed for spreading misinformation)

So there's clear examples of all of the state of fear threads (1 through to whatever number we're on now) of scientific misinformation including COVID minimising and anti-vax scaremongering, it's relentless.

Iloveasda1000 · 30/05/2021 15:55

@TruelyStruttingHotpants

*Nope making it up again You shouldn't make things up to try make a point It's dishonest and disingenuous Just accept you are wrong and let's move on 👍*

What do you feel I am making up?

Your joke being offensive in its denial?

Or

The fact that holocaust symbols and references were very much present at the march?

The first thing is proven by the evidence of the second. Photos of various signs and stickers have been posted on this thread. It is not SAGE modelling we are talking about. It is actual stuff you can see with your own eyes. You could have in fact looked at the thread after I said and posted sorry your mistake, didn't mean to be offensive etc. You have chosen a different path though haven't you. Which is suggesting you choose to remain blinkered if something suits your narrative.

You are taking something I said and completely turning it into something else to suit your agenda. I made a simple joke about how people are in disagreeance about the make up of the marchers. Because you lacked the wit to get the nuance of that joke you took great offence, or pretended to anyway. Sorry but I don't fall for that bullshit. It's pathetic to be quite honest. You know full well the joke was not meant offensively. Please stop Telling Lies. It really is that simple.

People can look back themselves if they wish. You are the only one who has mentioned my post. Funny that innit

Tealightsandd · 30/05/2021 16:00

@Wildswim

I'm nowhere near London so couldn't go but glad to see how many turned up.
You don't have the courage of your convictions in public you mean. No guts.

Afterall you have the freedom to set up a protest in your own neighborhood. If you wanted to.

Go ahead and do it. Organise a shuffle down the main road in town or village.

Create traffic congestion and route closures, causing delays to residents getting to hospital or visiting family - or enjoying their freedom to meet friends in the pub or for a meal.

Hold up some badly drawn illiterate placards (make sure to include racist far-right imagery for authenticity).

Round the day off with a 'peaceful' invasion of the local shops, complete with harassment and intimidation of local shoppers, shopkeepers, and bus drivers.

Job done.

Look, I get it, you're frightened, you've had the jab and you now feel silly. I can't help you there, I'm afraid. Your body, your choice. WAKE UP, PEOPLE.

Just had my second jab and feeling very lucky I've already had both.

Good for me, good for the general population!

I am due to get my 2nd jab next week. Your balanced, insightful and well researched arguments have helped me make the decision not to have it.*

*In an alternative universe, that is.

So glad to have been some help. Hth.
If we lockdown again they will surely have to bring the army in. That march was pretty huge yesterday.
Just squirt them with bubble water or foam out of giant toy syringes. I presume we have the freedom to do it.

I vote for bringing back the Trafalgar Square pigeons. Train them to fly over and then they can freely poo on the motley crew as they shuffle along below.

We need to arrange a protest. Ken Livingstone stole the tourist and resident freedom to feed the pigeons and the pigeons freedom to poo. Protest attendees to turn up dressed in pigeon costumes. Only if they want to. Because you know freedom.

Feed the birds.
Freedom For The London Pigeons!

Yep had my second couple of weeks ago. Feel great. But it's true I don't feel AWAKE enough, as I am snoozing in the sun ignoring silly marches
Iloveasda1000 · 30/05/2021 16:15

You ought to try living in Myanmar right now if you hate protests so much @Tealightsandd
They have their own way of dealing with protestors. Open fire on them or "disappear" them. I take it you'd approve?

Tealightsandd · 30/05/2021 16:15
@Baluchistan95 I agree that June 21st changes may not happen, but not for any sinister reason-it will be because of the Indian variant. What is it we need to wake up to?
An alarm clock is my preference but some just use their phone. I quite like a cockerel too although it's not for everyone.

chickenyhead · 30/05/2021 16:16

They are under military rule no? Hardly comparable to the UK??????????

I hate protests? I just suggested one! Which you're very welcome to join (pigeon costume optional). #FreedomForThePigeons #FeedTheBirds #FreePooPigeon

Pmsl. Please come back and let us know how you feel in the Autumn. Comedy gold. You couldn't make it up.

I admit I do enjoy 'opening fire' (not in a pigeon poo way). I'm quite childish when it comes to bubble water and foam.

Ah right so we can only protest if there has been a military coup?

well equally I'd like to see anyone complaining that we're living in a dictatorship/1984/gilead in the UK actually try being somewhere like myanmar or north korea

I appreciate your honesty!!

Well you can't protest against something that isn't applicable can you?

That would be like, I don't know, driving a red car to a rally about not being able to drive red cars

Baluchistan95 · 30/05/2021 16:23

It's great to see the 77th are alive and active on MN.

green agenda - big commitments made which can be accelerated with lockdowns

Confused The main reason for our repeated prolonged lockdowns is because the government prioritised not green international travel above all else.

Parker231 · 30/05/2021 16:28

Perhaps I should apply for a job with them. Wonder if they'll take me? I can do ad hoc flexi hours. Not available for full-time due to other commitments. Fee, benefits, and terms to be discussed at interview.
