Yet more chat about novavax, (un)blinding, general vaccine passport stress, approval (please please please) and more.
Those involved in other vaccine trials also welcome.

@PleaseReferToMeAsBritneySpears it’s on my NHS app. The first two jabs are classed as ‘1st dose’ and the last two jabs as ‘second dose’.

Brilliant!

PleaseReferToMeAsBritneySpears · 14/06/2021 16:59

I'm going to increase my app watch from once per day to once per hour!

coffeeandchoc · 14/06/2021 17:53

I have my novavax vaccines listed in my medical records of my immunisations in the my health records section of the app, but if I check the section of the app that says 'check your covid-19 records' it just says 'we could not find your vaccination details'

Monkeygirl68 · 14/06/2021 18:12

They are all over the place. On some of my family, it is located under medications!?!

Frazzled2207 · 14/06/2021 18:48

Def not here. The important one surely is “share your covid status”, to which mine says “unavailable”.

Ahh @gazzaconns I got the same email, hopes starting to rise!

Vargas · 15/06/2021 18:54

I've had the email today too, but nothing on my app yet. Cross fingers!

RoseWineTime · 15/06/2021 20:26

Com-cov 1 trial people hsbdd we beff red n emailed to say we will be unblinded next week and vaccines out in the nhs app after that Smile

ItsSnowJokes · 15/06/2021 20:40

I have emailed the trial clinic today about the ongoing pain in my upper arm. If I do too much with that arm (which is every day as its my dominant arm) by the evening I am in so much pain with the arm aching in exactly the same place as the injection went in. It was the most painful injection I have ever had when it was done at the end of April but I didn't expect to still be in pain 7 weeks later.

Frazzled2207 · 15/06/2021 21:06

@ItsSnowJokes
that really is worrying. I'm surprised you haven't been on the phone to them already.
Hopefully they can be helpful in some way.
After totally zero side effects at all from four shots I have nothing to complain about in that department fortunatley.

I heard recently about someone who was in a lot of pain after their injection snd it turned out that as they were quite think the injection went through the deltoid muscle and into their joint. Could that be through case got you I wonder?

QueenAnnesHat · 15/06/2021 21:53

After much soul searching and a long telephone conversation with the doctor at my trial centre, I went for an AZ vaccination yesterday afternoon. Felt fine until lunchtime today when I got a headache and felt very tired. Much better now after a sleep, but a bit washed out. Vaccination was showing up in my NHS app first thing this morning.

I just kept thinking it would go away soon. 7 weeks later and I have had enough.

It is just getting more and more frequent as well so it is very annoying. I just hole the trial get back to me as soon as possible. If I don't hear by Thursday I am going to call them.

It may be. I really don't know. It bloody killed when they vaccinated me. Like a really intense burning, stinging nerve pain thing. I have quite a high pain threshold I thought but this really took my breath away.

They'd have to do it ever so high up to manage that, but I suppose it would be possible.

Comcov2 isn't unblinding as far as I know.

Ah… was the trial doctor supportive? I hope so. Did you have to lie to get it? Hope you feel better soon. Dh was exactly the same, bit of a headache and a sleep and not quite right for about 36 hours but then fine

The pain you describe sounds like they hit a nerve.

Nothing here either (predictably!!). But at least you know it's not your post...

JosephineDeBeauharnais · 16/06/2021 13:16

I have had nothing from anyone - not the trial, not the NHS, not the GP.
