Anyone not having vaccine , why aren't you?

LazyDaisy10 · 20/05/2021 09:37

Is anyone not having the vaccine and what are your reasons? Im in my 30s I'm not having the vaccine because I'm worried about the long term effects that might not come to light for a few years. Why are you not having it?
If you think the vaccine is amazing and anyone not having it is selfish you probably don't need to comment.

@katylees

Incidentally pumpy, virtually all my posts are dealing with the thread topic and fairly lengthy explaining the reasons why whether people agree or not whilst yours are spent dealing with strawman arguments deliberately twisting posts in order to discredit views despite offering none of your own... you're dismissed pumpy *@Pumperthepumper*
WTF is this now? What do you think Pumper means?

Your posts have been invariably garbage - nonsense about totalitarianism, forced vaccines that you’re not having and a pandemic due to a PR campaign. Absolutely everything written here is stuff you’ve posted, among the insults - that and saying I was ‘foisting fear on others’ based on absolutely nothing.

So what’s your issue? Still annoyed about being forced that vaccine that you haven’t had and won’t have? Forced in what way?

Pumperthepumper · 20/05/2021 19:51

@katylees

I wont be having it, the push from society to have it amounts to bullying and is quite sinister on many levels with the state interfering with the health of people giving up body autonomy with rthe fallout including a bunch of people online labeling people selfish for taking a vaccine which may cause them issues. It doesn't matter what the perceived risks of the vaccine compared to covid are, it's no ones business bar the person taking the vaccine whether they take it or not.

Imagine an alien spacecraft flying over the earth looking down " what are they locking away/ isolating for commander ?" asks on alien - " well" replies the commander " it's a virus that has an average age of death of 82 yet the human species has a finite life expectancy of between 79-81. The isolation of them locking away is causing delays in medical treatment for cancer which kills 450 a day, financial distress of lost homes and mental health issues soaring through the roof with the policies of lockdown estimated to kill tens of thousands of younger people that would have survived covid. There seems little recognition in this species" continues the alien commander, "of the fact all of the humans hiding away will be dead in a short time anyway from a myriad of conditions including but not limited to heart disease, dementia, parkinsons, cancer , stroke, diabetes, alzheimers.." " Surely they have a cure for this virus by now"? asks the alien. " A vaccine has come out, it may not work as well against new strains of a virus which is so deadly for most people, they need a test to even know they have it. Young people are being told to have the vaccine whose risk of dying from covid is less than crossing a busy road yet they have a higher risk of blood clots / complications from the vaccine than older people have ". " Why on earth are they taking the vaccine then" screams the alien to the commander. " Well Brenda at number 42 for eg thinks it will change government policy of lockdowns with thousands flying in and out of a tiny island daily and believes a young person should take the risk of complications from the vaccine so she can sit in a cinema feeling better- if they don't they are selfish"

The alien turns to the commander and says " Sir, there appears to be no intelligent life here- permission to fly the mothership on". "Granted !" laughs the commander

Not to mention this absolute word salad @katylees
MotherOfGodWeeFella · 20/05/2021 19:52

I think their fairly lengthy because you seek to dominate and it's the online equivalent of shouting people down. Your posts are full of inaccuracies, half truths, hyperbole and supposition. I'm out of here - tonight's Eurovision semi final will be more uplifting than reading your diatribe against commonsense.

This is worth watching before you decide.......

I've also attached the speakers's bio to check credentials.

Isn't that the woman that claimed masks were only used because the government find 'oxygen deprived people' easier to control?
PinkSparklyIncorrigibleDunce · 20/05/2021 20:01

@whataballbag yes it is - that's probably not mentioned though!

katylees · 20/05/2021 20:04

@Pumperthepumper has admitted she doesn't have a view of her own or too frightened to articulate it. Pumpys only contribution is telling people how stupid they are but subsequently too petrified to offer her own view or not bright enough to have one.. the ultimate definition of a bored troll. I'd have an easier task teaching my goldfish the works of mozart than engaging in a debate with pumpy who doesn't even have a view on a public forum other than abuse towards posters... clearly terrified of covid and probably locked away in a broom cupboard so allowances have to be made I suppose.

Have you actually anything to add to the thread pumpy other than abuse to people who don't wish to have the vaccine ? I've educated you on the meaning of the word totalitarianism and how society in my view is slipping to that yet you seem to have mentioned it 4 times now for some reason. Perhaps you can elaborate why it is bs instead of just little snipes with your limited vocabulary and unwarranted aggression?

For the third time: What do you think Pumper means?

So many insults to wade through in yet another stream-of-consciousness post from you BUT I made my position clear really early in the thread: if you don’t want the vaccine, don’t have it. That’s what you called ‘foisting fear’.

You still haven’t said how the vaccine you’re not having is being forced on you?

PinkSparklyIncorrigibleDunce · 20/05/2021 20:10

Pumpys only contribution is telling people how stupid they are

You haven't contributed much else! Your default is to insults anyone who doesn't agree with you and you don't bother reading posts properly.

Lala134 · 20/05/2021 20:11

@MagicSummer

It's all very well some of you speaking from behind the comfort of (relative) youth! I wonder how you would be feeling if you were over 60 and were disappointed to see that younger people couldn't contribute to the greater good by having the vaccination?
lol are you for real? Young people have wasted a year of there life staying home and now you expect them to get an experimental vaccine for something that doesnt kill them (0.002% IFR for under 30s, this rate declines the lower the age so for a child it is 0.0002%) to protect people that have already been vaccinated? and yes there will be a few vulnerable that cant get the vaccine but thats irrelevant as fully vaccinated people can still spread it. I really would like to know why the government want children to take brand new vaccine technology that is only emergency approved? What happened to only vaccinating the most vulnerable, please justify to me why a child should get this or those not at risk from he virus?

Do they? Are they rolling it out to children now?

purplehulahoop · 20/05/2021 20:14

I've had both mine def not having a booster

katylees · 20/05/2021 20:17

I've made some lengthy points regarding the thread topic, if you choose to ignore them it's your prerogative as I've no interest keep repeating the same things over and over. Your contribution to the thread @Pumperthepumper seems to be quoting posts whilst having no view of your own and the pinkpussys first contribution to the thread was telling us how the only person she knows that has refused the vaccine is " as thick as mince". The irony of some of these comments with the image of a greenhouse and stones being launched springs to mind

At this stage I’d settle for a simple explanation of what you think Pumper means.
Pumperthepumper · 20/05/2021 20:19

@JustBeKind111

I am in perfect health, under age of 30 and I'm slim, don't smoke or drink, eat healthy diet with no processed foods or sugars, excercise daily so WHY would I have to take experimental vaccine?? I do not want to become infertile or suffer long term side effects or have a blood clott in my brain, no thanks! The risk of me dying of covid is equal to the risk of getting hit by a bus. Do you have a jab for that too please? I will wait and see how all guinea pigs react to jabs and what side effects they have. The only single reason I would have this poison if they would not allow me to travel or leave this island (but hey we have got tests for that!) So thanks I will pass this one. Would prefer to live a few more decades rather than voluntarily damage my body with poison. And yes I AM SELFISH. I ONLY CARE OF MYSELF AND MY OWN LIFE. Aren't we all?!
Don’t take it then. You don’t have to take it, nobody is going to make you. That’s your choice: have it or don’t have it.

@katylees Jesus Christ, are you still banging on about me calling a conspiracy theorist thick? As you've insulted pretty much anyone who disagrees with you I really don't think you can take the moral high ground when it comes to name calling.

One question, do you seriously believe someone who thinks we are being injected with microchips is intelligent? (Try and answer throwing insults around if possible)

katylees · 20/05/2021 20:25

"At this stage I’d settle for a simple explanation of what you think Pumper means."

If it was from someone else, it would imply a connection to a fire engine , but I'm having visions of a cold winter night, street corner and a car pulling up as a source of your inspiration in choosing the name for some reason.

For a final time @Pumperthepumper have you anything constructive to add to the thread actually dealing with the thread question?

TopTabby · 20/05/2021 20:26

So much crazy batshit crap being posted on here, are you anti vaccine posters really serious?
If you don't want it don't have it.
But shut the fuck up about it eh & don't expect more Lockdowns to accommodate your ridiculous decisions.

Hardly anyone not taking the vaccine believes that so your question is irrelevant and just posed to discredit/ridicule people in exercising body autonomy in refusing the vaccine

EmmaOvary · 20/05/2021 20:28

This thread is the most depressing thing I've read all week. Until we reach the tipping point of vaccinations worldwide, not just nationwide, we can't control this. The more unvaccinated people, the more it will spread and the greater the chance of variants. So every single vaccine in every single arm matters. The vaccine isn't the bad guy here. Covid is.

Why would " anti vaxxers " expect more lockdowns ? The ones clamoring for lockdowns are the ones terrified of covid ie " the pro vaxers " in most cases

If you think worldwide vaccines are the biggest concern in countries where millions don't have access to drinking water, starve to death etc you're in for a long wait
