Own up. Who’s going mad tomorrow 😂

Well not exactly going mad but I sense a trip to the cinema on the cards and a sneaky wagamamas and maybe a swift half.

Got to make the most of our freedom.
At least if it rains we can get inside.

I wonder if the pubs will have some music on.
I have missed that so much.

Shame that they have decided to release us on a Monday of all days. I'd have liked to have loved it up this weekend....

Forgothowmuchlhatehomeschoolin · 16/05/2021 22:38

Not tomorrow but am out on Tuesday and Thirsday!! Yay!!

FizzyPink · 16/05/2021 22:39

I’ve got a bottomless brunch booked for Saturday afternoon and I cannot wait to plan a lovely outfit to wear without the need for a coat, scarf and umbrella Grin

Lived it up!!
getyourfreakon · 16/05/2021 22:39

I'm gonna go fucking wild walking 6 miles in the rain doing the school run while juggling side effects from my second Pfizer jab. What a world we live in 🤟🏻

TempsPerdu · 16/05/2021 22:40

Well I’ll have DD3 in tow tomorrow so no relaxation or unrestrained hedonism for me, but we have the library booked and we’ll definitely be enjoying an indoor coffee in the cafe afterwards.

Have booked our favourite restaurant for later in the week and hopefully a cinema trip soon, babysitter permitting!

Katie517 · 16/05/2021 22:41

Have just had to actually put stuff in my calendar for the first time in forever because my week is so busy I am sure I will forget something I have planned. It felt lovely to speak to my husband tonight about what we have planned for the week and actually have stuff planned that can’t be ruined by rain! Taking my baby to a sensory soft play tomorrow, followed by a lunch out then back to indoor gym classes in the evenings this week. Couple of dinners with friends and hopefully an outdoor baby shower for my best friend at the weekend as long as the marquee we have hired can handle whatever the weather throws at us on Sunday! So excited to be doing stuff again and not in the slightest bit apprehensive!

Laufeythejust · 16/05/2021 22:42

I’m away with work and over the moon we can have tea inside- I nearly froze to death today pretending to enjoy polite conversation and a salad outside in the rain.

millerpie · 16/05/2021 22:43

Not for me, I haven’t had the vaccine yet so still being cautious. I work from home anyway so nothing more exciting than walking the dogs as usual. It’s lovely to see things opening up again and everyone getting those long overdue hugs in.

MsOgyny · 16/05/2021 22:43

I'll be waiting till I'm vaccinated (oh the curse of youth...I have a while to wait!), as I'd absolutely kick myself if I got covid this late in the game, after being stupidly careful for so long. Not so much because of the immediate symptoms, but what a bugger it would be to get long covid for the sake of drinking inside a cafe! Mainly thinking for my kids though, as they don't need me getting long covid, so I shall not risk it yet... anyone who fancies having an extra drink for me though, please do! I'll be with you in spirit!

paulhollywoodshairgel · 16/05/2021 22:45

Cinema at the weekend 😀 hubs has been really poorly (not covid) so might take him for a burger and a beer x

shewalkslikerihanna · 16/05/2021 22:46

@Bunnyrun5
No that’s fine
Everyone goes at their own pace.
Whatever everyone feels comfortable with.

I love cake of dooms style
If I was half my age, I’d be doing the exact same.
However I will be out and about as much as I can..weather permitting.

Didn’t know the races were on again
Definitely going to give that go
We live in horse country.
So plenty of choice

Out for dinner tomorrow night! Can't wait. Would love to go to the cinema soon but haven't seen that anything decent is out yet. Half term will be great though - will try and do lots of things then.

DottyWott · 16/05/2021 22:47

No because I have long covid and I can’t move without pain and it’s been 6 months now. Stay safe!

blue1000 · 16/05/2021 22:48

Back to work with 1,000 teenagers and no masks!

I CANNOT WAIT.

I'm pushing 60 🤣 but you're a long time dead and this has taught me to seize the day whilst I still can. I'm mindful of those who have suffered illness and loss, but life, as we know it, is for living x

Watercoloursky · 16/05/2021 23:03

Our favourite pub wasn't able to open on April 12 because it doesn't have any outdoor space. We'll be going along tomorrow to help give them a bit of a cash boost and support them as they finally get to reopen, as we want them to survive! Also love the landlord, he's a real legend, so looking forward to catching up with him. :-)

FusionChefGeoff · 16/05/2021 23:04

DH has been planning a day off on Friday for a while to go to our local cricket ground when they start allowing supporters so I am going to pick him up at lunch for a slap up Italian lunch date!!!! Can't wait and I may just go for a coffee by myself after I've dropped him back just because I can Smile

Glitterblue · 16/05/2021 23:09

Tomorrow is my birthday so I will finally be going to see my parents for the first time since Christmas Day, also my very pregnant best friend is coming for a cup of tea - can't wait to see her!

Bordois · 16/05/2021 23:11

Ingoing out out on Friday but will be sitting indoors 😆

If there's another wave on the way then I am damn well going to make the most of my freedom whilst I have it!

shewalkslikerihanna · 16/05/2021 23:12

@Cakeofdoom
Well done you
I’m nearly 10 years ahead of you
But will give it my best shot

Haven’t been very well ... long ibs
Too bloody long . Years.
But I think I’m gradually getting on top of it
Had to go 100 per cent gluten and dairy free
So eating out isn’t the fun it used to be
But it’s what you do if you want to enjoy decent health in your 70s

Well my eyes are crossing so better get some sleep for The Big Breakout
Tomorrow.
Yeeha!
