Anyone had AZ and NOT had it affect their period?

I’m hoping all the stories on the net are confirmation bias because people want to share their experiences rather than that this is the most common outcome. So... if you had AZ and then a normal, reasonably on time period, please post!

I had mine just after my period. Should be ovulating now and think I am but hard to know as I’m usually quite perky around ovulation but being in the severe grip of anxiety is stepping on my desire to jump on DH.

Normal here

ParadiseIsland · 31/03/2021 20:25

Had the AZ and no issue at all.
Cycle was as regular as usual (not on the pill either).

This was 2 cycles ago.

(I had other symptoms though...)

DoodleDJ · 31/03/2021 20:27

all normal here

BlowDryRat · 31/03/2021 20:28

I've had 2 doses of AZ. I haven't noticed any effect on my periods.

Spacemonkey2016 · 31/03/2021 20:30

Hasn't affected my period at all.

SpnBaby1967 · 31/03/2021 20:30

Had AZ on Saturday, period arrived on sunday as it was meant to and has been it's normal heavy pain in the ass.

What effect are people saying the vaccine has on it?

HalfBrick · 31/03/2021 20:31

Normal.

Boringlynormal · 31/03/2021 20:42

@SpnBaby1967 There have been reports of missed or late periods after it. This thread is reassuring though that it’s not everyone by any means.

ChesterDraws4Sale · 31/03/2021 21:11

What?! I hadn’t heard this at all. All normal here.

JemimaMuddledUp · 31/03/2021 21:15

Had AZ in February, have had normal periods since.

CoffeeWithCheese · 31/03/2021 21:16

Mine are as irregular and irritating as they ever were.

DarceyDashwood · 31/03/2021 21:35

Everything normal like clockwork with me!

I'm the opposite.

I am 50, so into menopausal territory. My last period was summer 2020.
I came on after my jab. Was really surprised to see it (and the hunt for a sanitary towel/tampon was fun). It lasted a week and was quite heavy.

I thought about reporting it, but thought I might wait til my second jab and see what happens tben

nancy75 · 31/03/2021 22:00

I had AZ at the start of March, period on time & normal this month (I’m 45 & you could set your watch by my periods - always on the exact day!)

MRex · 31/03/2021 22:01

No idea because I am on the oestrogen only pill, so don't get periods anyway at the moment.

cabbageking · 31/03/2021 22:14

No negative AZ effects

Grumblesigh · 31/03/2021 22:15

@RogueMNerKnowsNoShame

Snap! Exactly the same - no period for nearly a year, then one week after the jab, a one-week period. Bizarre. Also had to scramble in the bathroom cupboard for supplies.

Also waiting to see what the second jab does.

RogueMNerKnowsNoShame · 31/03/2021 22:37

High five @Boringlynormal

RogueMNerKnowsNoShame · 31/03/2021 22:39

Gah, odd autocorrect.

@Boringlynormal, I'm sure you are fab.

I meant to high five @Grumblesigh
