Just interested to see what people's feelings are given the latest news on AZ from Canada and Germany.

So, as the title says..

If you were offered the AZ vaccine tomorrow would you take it?

I'm 57 and had mine just over 2 weeks ago and have no regrets or anxiety and I'm a bit of a worrier. I had a tender arm around the injection site but no other side effects. The relief is immense that the az vaccine is here and I feel much safer. This is genuinely how I feel.

Mum2jenny · 30/03/2021 21:52

Already had the AZ vaccine

sleepwouldbenice · 30/03/2021 21:53

absolutely - would love to be offered it....

WithTeaTree · 30/03/2021 21:54

Yes - although I’ve already had it so it’s a bit of a moot point.

Quit4me · 30/03/2021 21:54

No I wouldn’t

Erkrie · 30/03/2021 21:55

I've already had it, but if I hadn't, then yes, 💯.

Figgyboa · 30/03/2021 21:56

Yes

Lougle · 30/03/2021 21:56

I'm 41 and had mine 2 weeks ago. Migraine overnight and really tired the next day. Fine after that. DH is 44 and had his yesterday. Chills and shivers last night and went to bed by 9pm. Really tired and achy today but went to work. Gone to bed at 9pm again. Otherwise fine.

tarapinn · 30/03/2021 22:02

Yes. Had my second AZ vaccine last week

wetwiped · 30/03/2021 22:02

I'm 52 and had first AZ jab a couple of weeks ago, just as the blood clotting concerns were hitting the headlines. I'm anxious following the latest developments and am in two minds about having the second.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 30/03/2021 22:05

Yes please.

clopper · 30/03/2021 22:07

Had it

AzureTwist · 30/03/2021 22:10

Yes

Quit4me · 30/03/2021 22:11

What I don’t get it people saying 30 million have had the vaccine and very few have had clots.
The thing is that the 30 million are in the large majority those above 50 and women and men.
How many million women age 16-50 have been given the jab?

PurpleRainDancer · 30/03/2021 22:11

No

Stillgoings · 30/03/2021 22:12

Yes. I was desperate to get it and managed to do so on Sunday. I'm 47 and i am worrying about the news from Canada and Germany today. I'll be celebrating on day 21 if I get there that is for sure. But yes I would have it again (I think!)

Mistressofmany · 30/03/2021 22:14

I'm very pro-vaccine but it's hard not to have concerns when it is on the news all day and you fit into the group they are concerned about. Mine is due in a few days time.

wheresmymojo · 30/03/2021 22:14

Have already had it, will definitely be having my 2nd dose

HalzTangz · 30/03/2021 22:14

Yes

Ifyourefeelingsinister · 30/03/2021 22:15

Yes, due to get it next week and trying to keep it all in perspective.

MRex · 30/03/2021 22:26

If I hadn't had AZ then yes, as I've had it I don't want my second dose until June at 12 weeks because that's best for immunity.

If doses are going spare then I have a DH and sister who are very keen to be jabbed asap, plus various friends and neighbours.

Polkadotties · 30/03/2021 22:28

Yes

WouldBeGood · 30/03/2021 22:28

Had it on Saturday 😃

confuseddotcom090 · 30/03/2021 22:30

No.
Risk benefit doesn't stack up for me.

ElizaB22 · 30/03/2021 22:30

I had it 4 hours ago
