Ethylene oxide on covid swabs?

241 replies

Kaylasmum49 · 24/03/2021 08:11

I had a friend send me an article about the swabs used in covid tests being coated in ethylene oxide. It says that there is a risk of certain cancers with using the swabs. I think my friend is being sucked into the conspiracy theories and she keeps trying to get me to read all these theories.

Has anyone heard anything concerning about the swabs. My dd is testing twice weekly for school.

@Chusan wow you had to go back a long way to find mortality figures as bad as 2020. Looks like COVID wiped out all the progress we have made since 2000.

@Chusan
Since Kary Mullis died before Covid was even a thing I think it is a pretty sure bet that any video showing him saying PCR can’t diagnose Covid is a fraud !
It actually makes an excellent diagnostic tool for many conditions ( disclaimer I was using it when working for the NHS back in the 1990s to diagnose specific conditions, bloody tempted to give you my real name so you can google the many publications I have using it, and to post the lovely comments from the families I was working with)

babbaloushka · 31/03/2021 09:16

@Chusan

Gingernaut. You state that covid19 death rates went sky high. No they did not. No one has died from the illness covid19. They have died apparently with it and only if they have underlying health problems. The average age of mortality for this disease is 82 years of age . The survival rate is 99.9% . Here are the numbers from the Office of National Statistics website. Just a few years so you can make a sensible comparison then research it yourself. ONS UK Government website. Year 1990 All Cause Mortality.....564,546. Year 2000 All Cause Mortality.....537877. Year 2010 All Cause Mortality.....491,348. Year 2020 All Cause Mortality.....561,529. Just for interest try to find the figures for influenza. You won't find them as they have been relabelled covid19. Serious research and answers you can find on Dr Sam Bailey's videos on YouTube. ABSOLUTELY NO CONSPIRACY THEORIES.
Sam Bailey, another one to add to the bingo card BobbiesterWink. I would also like to add my that DD has seen the virus under a microscope at work. It's there.
Gingernaut · 31/03/2021 10:01

Of course viruses exists.

We've got Covid-19's mugshot early on and it's DNA profile.

I randomly came across this thread and signed up just because it was refreshing to see fellow common senser out there. Or as many would deem you “A conspiracy Nut”. I’ve been looked at as crazy for suggesting Vitamin D, C, zinc and h2o as everyday supplements.

Northernsoulgirl45 · 31/03/2021 17:34

Absolutely nothing wrong with taking supplements and drinking water.

Gingernaut · 31/03/2021 20:15

Vit C, vit D and Zn all help to boost the immune system in cases of chronic deficiency - they don't help to fight infection - antivirals and antibiotics do that.

Roonerspismed · 31/03/2021 20:43

Actually these supplements help the immune system work optimally. A “boosted” immune system drifts you into autoimmunity, but this is a small point.

An immune system that functions optimally in the context of a metabolically healthy body will deal appropriately with infections and viruses.

Do antibiotics “fight” infections?

There's nothing wrong with taking these supplements, and they will help maintain a healthy immune system, but they won't create antibodies against the virus like a vaccine does. There's no evidence to suggest that they alone are sufficient to prevent symptomatic viral infection, if there was, the NHS would have saved £££££££ on promoting these over the vaccine rollout.

Yes, bacterial ones. Clue's in the name...
Northernsoulgirl45 · 31/03/2021 21:54

@babbaloushka you put it better than me.
Absolutely fine to recommend supplements for boosting immune system.
However suggesting that they should replace known treatments for COVID which did happen or a vaccine isvery different indeed.

Clear explanations upthread why op s friend is a dumbfuck for believing that swabs could be dangerous. Although not as dumb as some others on here...

Too many flicked their hair through school. Shame really.

@Pmogs

It is dangerous putting swabs up the nose because there is possibility of doing damage to the cribriform plate. Once the damage is done there is an open path direct to the brain and putting our central nervous system ay risk and so any tiniest of particles could be very dangerous to our bodies and even deadly. To those who trust in gov so much next time you walk outside take a look up and notice the chemtrails that's causing so many health problems we all have nanoparticles lodged in our organs and flowing through our blood streams the nanoparticles have high levels of aluminium simply by breathing on a day to day basis they have been aerosoling the air we breath for a long time now that's how brain diseases are increasing so much.
Does it destroy your ability to use full stops? Shock
TaxTheRatFarms · 14/04/2021 00:41

Jesus with this lot - either no full stops or a herd of them all at once Grin

Wtfdoipick · 14/04/2021 00:56

I'm hoping that last one doesn't get deleted, it's so bad it's comical. I shall continue my twice weekly testing and go for my 2nd vaccination jab.
