Ethylene oxide on covid swabs?

I had a friend send me an article about the swabs used in covid tests being coated in ethylene oxide. It says that there is a risk of certain cancers with using the swabs. I think my friend is being sucked into the conspiracy theories and she keeps trying to get me to read all these theories.

Has anyone heard anything concerning about the swabs. My dd is testing twice weekly for school.

I would imagine that twat in the sunglasses is what's causing your headache and the runny nose is because your sticking something up it and aggravating the hairs.

There's always one! Why are you having a dig when all she did was ask....she hasn't promoted any discouragement in taking tests or anything else...it was one simple concern and she only asked.....you sound like you need your nappy changing, hope someone sorts that for you!

This post isn’t remotely anti vaxx, it’s someone asking questions which surely we should all do before we blindly stuff Ethylene Oxide up our children’s and ourselves noses twice a week??? Surely we should educate ourselves let’s not forget thalidomide was safe too

And it's still safe and used in treating certain conditions.

It's just not safe (and more to point, only in one particular version - due to chirality) when in the early stages of pregnancy.

She didnt even ask about a vax lmao. ETO is used in sterilization methods in medical industry. Look it up on CDC website. It is carcinogenic and can cause other health issues. It's toxic to the body and kids should not be exposed to it on a regular on-going basis. Btw people not getting an experimental gene therapy that doesnt stop the spread of the virus, or from contracting the virus, are not anti vaxxers. We do our own research and do not want to be a lab rat for an experiment. I suggest you research what mRNA is and what it does. It will remain experimental until 2023 👌

You can search CDC website for info on ETO. For me and my kids, they can keep their toxins. We've all had Coronavirus and never took a test.

As you're not keen on mRNA vaccines - why don't you have the Oxford Astrazeneca one? It doesn't use that technology.

It is dangerous putting swabs up the nose because there is possibility of doing damage to the cribriform plate. Once the damage is done there is an open path direct to the brain and putting our central nervous system ay risk and so any tiniest of particles could be very dangerous to our bodies and even deadly. To those who trust in gov so much next time you walk outside take a look up and notice the chemtrails that's causing so many health problems we all have nanoparticles lodged in our organs and flowing through our blood streams the nanoparticles have high levels of aluminium simply by breathing on a day to day basis they have been aerosoling the air we breath for a long time now that's how brain diseases are increasing so much.

I did my own research! In a University laboratory, for several years, and then on a placement for several more years. I know what mRNA does, both of our bodies are making it right this second. Watching a youtube video by a conspiracy theorist does not constitute research that rivals mine or the other scientists on the thread.

I can completely understand why you were worried after you saw the video, especially where our children are concerned. What you have to remember is that it is present in TINY amounts on the swab, way too small a concentration to do anything. You've probably been in contact with it before, on dental tools or other medical equipment, as it's used for sterilising lots of things. I am a biochemist who has worked with EeO and I'm happy for my children to test with the swabs as I understand that there is next to no risk. I use the swabs myself. I wouldn't do this if I wasn't confident.

Some people choose to limit ALL exposure to chemicals and toxins, so the last thing they want is to be pressured, or have their children pressured into using something up upto 3 times a week that has to be inserted up their nose and down their throat if there are long-term health risks associated with that. Yes, toxins exist everywhere and are in/on many products, surfaces, buildings, foods etc. Hence why the rate of the risk of cancer is now that 1 in 2 people will apparently now get it at some point of their lives. That is not okay, and there are many causes that can be avoided - including declining the governments offer to test your children twice a week and once at home. If that reduces the risk of either of my children getting any form of cancer in their lives, then that’s great and it’s called responsible parenting. Very naive to think otherwise.

The biggest risk for cancer is obesity.

Our rates are increasing for the same reason our Covd-19 death rates went sky high.
