Isle of Man out of Lockdown! Ends today

Isle of Man is out of lockdown as of today! All restrictions lifted and everything back to normal with just border controls.

I’m happy for the Isle of Man and what they have accomplished. I would like to think we will get there at some point (the whole of the uk) but as there are so many flights coming in and out I can’t see it happening any time soon.

Oh how wonderful for the residents there!
Hopefully the border controls will be good enough to stop people bringing it in, and how lovely to have even a small area thats back to "normal".

Someone will be along soon to say its disrespectful to be happy and talk of celebrating while people are dying. My view, life is short and precarious, be happy about what you can when you can.

She's entitled to gloat, sure. Same as I'm entitled to say there really can't be that much going on on the good old Isle of Man if she's sat bragging online and not fecking off down the pub.
