Life is sooo dull!

And yes, we've been out puddle jumping already today Wink

It is boring isn't it? I don't get bored easily but my gosh it's dull.

Ihatesandwiches · 20/01/2021 15:34

Came on just to say your title made me laugh. I cleaned the kitchen cupboards. The insides!

katkit · 20/01/2021 15:35

😂😂😂

Snapcat · 20/01/2021 15:36

You are the woman my MIL wishes her DS married 😂

Sparklingbrook · 20/01/2021 15:36

I was so bored I pulled the sofa cushions off and hoovered underneath them and underneath the sofa.
Giant haul of two biros/a steak knife/4 cat toys/a plastic drinking straw Shock30p in 10p pieces/a giant Wotsit/Christmas tree chocolate/4 Love Hearts was recovered. Such fun.

frozendaisy · 20/01/2021 15:37

I looked at our house admin filing bag!
Baby steps.

TheDogsMother · 20/01/2021 15:38

I've cleaned out the garden shed....twice since March. I'm about to start on the kitchen cupboards second time round too. I like to think of it as chores in advance. Once we are all released I am going to be out All. THE. TIME. so will have no time for any of these things. Grin

momoli · 20/01/2021 15:44

I wish i had the time to do any of these things.... i have a floordrobe the size of mount everest and homeschooling to do with a wild toddler in tow.
Although i have just decluttered the treat cupboard (and i mean binned all the out of date bits rather than eaten!) so i guess thats a good start.

AuntyFungal · 20/01/2021 15:46

Easy there folks - you don’t want to run out of fun too quick.

I have not got bored enough to start cleaning. I'll let you know if it happens.

MsChatterbox · 20/01/2021 15:57

I pulled my bed out and hoovered behind it. It was bad!

Cheesypea · 20/01/2021 16:01

I've cleaned out the saucepan cupboard twice. I'm contemplating emulsioning the inside of a cupboard.

KarensChoppyBob · 20/01/2021 16:03

While good books still exist my skirting boards shall remain unwashed Wink.

lavendervay · 20/01/2021 16:07

I've cleaned the entire flat top to bottom. I only moved in a week ago, and it's a rental that was professionally cleaned just before I moved in. Also, my cleaner is coming tomorrow.

Still better use of three hours than the nothingness that was on offer.

idontlikealdi · 20/01/2021 16:23

I cleaned the oven.

Won't be doing that again, still worth paying £50 to the oven man.

Spanielmadness · 20/01/2021 16:26

I cleaned the skirting earlier this week!

Today I have binged on ER and MAFS.

I have a dog, but he’s very nervous outside and almost agoraphobic at the moment, so I can’t even go out with him, other than to the end of the drive for a wee........

InsertRuderWord · 20/01/2021 16:26

I wish my response to boredom was to wash skirting boards and not watch trash on YouTube!

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 20/01/2021 16:27

See I thought I would have done things like this during lovkdown. Turn out I'm a lazy fucker.
I did clear out and hoover under my bed during the first week of lockdown last year, but that was it.
We did hire a skip and have a clear out of the house, but that's because I'm pregnant and had to get rid of serious amounts of crap to fit baby stuff in (our house is small)

Have a toddler. Can't read unfortunately!

I did that today too!! Also bored.

Lockdowningagain · 20/01/2021 16:33

Oh thank goodness! I thought this was a normal once a week sort of thing people did but relieved to know it's considered only something to do in times of desperate boredom 😅

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 20/01/2021 16:34

Can I invite you all around. On a schedule obviously and I'm happy to go up into the loft to have a nap tidy it.

I'm fed up of being so permanently exhausted. I have SO much that needs doing and ZERO energy for any of it 😥

Ihatesandwiches · 20/01/2021 16:36

@MsChatterbox - I changed the sheets on the beds yesterday and thought, 'Ooh, that's a great job for when DC are at their Dad's this weekend. I'll pull out the beds and hoover behind them!' Maybe even a trip out to the bin to empty the hoover!
