I think they committed to three times a week and this is the third this week tbf.
Not expecting any major announcements given that the lockdowns finally appear to be working. Hopefully some good news on vaccines.

Alas, alack, waffle, something in Latin, anything you would like to add, protect the NHS, the eye of the storm, wash your hands, stay vigilant, keep it up, now's not the time, alas, to take our foot off the brake, act as if you've got the virus, I'll ask Chris to answer the second part of your question, waffle, waffle, wash your hands, Patrick, anything you'd like to add? Wear your mask, a bit more Latin, waffle, wash your hands, stay at home, the end is in sight, light at the end of the tunnel, now is the time to step up, best leading vaccinators in the world, ever, wash your hands, stay at home, waffle, thank you for your question Robert, wash your hands, stay home, protect the NHS, waffle, waffle, alack, alas. That concludes today's briefing. Goodnight.

Every time they say that I shake my head.
If it is what I had I spent a week in bed and then was still needing to have a sleep After anything that involved exertion for a few weeks after. I am not going to behave like that

Maybe they will be showcasing the new data that shows that most infections are in care homes. And they have yet again failed to protect the obviously vulnerable when it was perfectly obvious to everyone they should be the main target for infection control.

Just read that article and she is quoted as saying (yesterday), “We are not thinking about bringing in new measures today or tomorrow." So they could announce some today to come into force at the weekend?

I really don't think they would dare do that

Come on! Confess!! Your his script writer aren't you?!

He's a nightmare to listen to, but I'll take him over Patel any day. That woman grinds my gears in a serious way.

They said last year that 'Daily Briefings' would resume in January, but I think in their usual clear messaging I think what they meant was there would be several a week, but not every day. Some sort of schedule might be handy. I'd also like a better schedule if who is speaking in the HoC and which select committees are going to be televised. (If anyone has links that would be grand!) they are really interesting if you're interested in the discussion. The one with Kaye Bingham this morning was great.

@SophieB100 Loving your work Sophie! Grin

I quite like watching Boris waffling away, and find his turn of phrase mildly amusing, although I can see why he winds people up. Apparently people who have worked with him say that he's incredibly bright, but lazy - so, the hard grind he's been forced to do must really grate on him! Smile I do think his natural optimism is a good thing though - anyone else in his position might have cracked up by now.
