They'll announce changes to the Christmas relaxation I imagine...

No mixing at Christmas.

Fucking ridiculous. So fed up. I understand why we shouldn't be mixing. But he literally confirmed Wednesday that Christmas bubbles are still on. Why change it 3 days later. He knew what the situation was. People have spent money on food, travel etc...
I wonder what they'll do about people who will be alone?

Also why don't they ever give a time?

Last time they gave us a time on a Saturday, Boris rocked up two hours late!

Daily mail -I know, I know, I’m sorry- are suggesting that they will ban travel for tier 3 people in south east

I'm guessing they'll really stress this new strain and how it now means that tier 3 areas are being put under a travel ban. Some people I know have already started their Christmas mixing so not sure they can fully cancel it.

Considering they shouldn't be mixing right now as not within the relaxation guidelines, they sure can fully cancel it.

Some of us have been following the rules to the letter and are desperate to see family.

If he cancels bubbles people will just ignore the rules.

Exactly. I won't break the rules so this will just sky rocket my mental health because I've been so careful leading up to Christmas.

How would I catch the virus when I'm not seeing anyone?

The people coming to visit me have been at home- going nowhere for 10 days so far. No shopping, no visits, nothing.

Seems he is panicking. If he had acted after the SAGE recommendations of 21 September within a week, there would be thousands fewer cases now.
