What do the anti-vax conspiracy theorists think will happen?

I'm not talking about those who are concerned the vaccination hasn't been around long enough, what do the conspiracy theorists think will happen if people have the vaccine?

OP posts:
starfish88 · 11/12/2020 12:05

A friend who genuinely believes this thinks that the vaccine will damage DNA strand 8 which "creates our humanity". The plan is for the new world order to use us as unfeeling robots to build the economy. But don't worry because Trump will prove the election was rigged, throw out Biden and stop the vaccine.

Aside from how mental this is, there is no humanity creating strand 8, and if we were robots with no wants then there would be no economy for the elite to benefit from.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 11/12/2020 12:19

There was a very bonkers new poster on another thread who thinks vaccine are a ‘depopulation exercise’ - I think he thinks they will make people infertile.

U8myufo · 11/12/2020 12:22

I don't have any theories myself, but if you label people then they'll hardly come onto a thread to share their views!

turnitonagain · 11/12/2020 12:25

Infertility is the conspiracy theory I’ve seen.

Gigheimer · 11/12/2020 12:29

Chipping to track (pointless already can)
Changed DNA on the route to a technocracy and transhumanism - actually already on the path to both of those without a vaccine so again pointless

Depopulation through infertility - now this one has some merit as the vaccine hasn’t been through to normal animal fertility toxicity trials so it’s stated they don’t know the affect on fertility - that’s on the documentation. And the only way to reduce climate change is actually depopulation, many many scientists say the same thing.

Not that I believe them but the latter gives even sane old me caution. I don’t want any more kids so may sign up Grin

@tiers4fears

Why have you started this thread to ridicule others?

You are giving more ammunition to irrational pro-vaccination posters to attack, not only true anti-vaxxers but also people who are genuinely concerned about these new vaccines (like myself).

You sound like you believe anti vaxxers come in different categories.

Gigheimer “Changed DNA on the route to a technocracy and transhumanism - actually already on the path to both of those“

Are we? Sounds worrying!

Zem74 · 11/12/2020 12:40

I sit on the fence with all of it - after the year we’ve had who’s to say who’s right and who’s wrong!
Nothing that comes out in the news or gets circulated on social media surprises me anymore. Who actually knows what’s going on!

trulydelicious · 11/12/2020 13:22

You seem to come under ^this category

Well depends how you sit on it. Technocracy basically means tech companies and experts in control, the 4th industrial revolution and all that. Technology is pretty much there in all but name, big data is used to direct most things, our day to day lives are run and influenced by it. I just don’t want to end in China’s social credit scoring place (your credit score not just being financial but also social, ever said anything on social media, committed a crime, married basically everything that makes you a “good” citizen).

Transhumanism is basically “improving” humans using a blend of medical intervention and tech to “improve” humans psychologically and physically. To transcend our own humanity. I would say the trans movement falls. Squarely into this category. As do chips in the skin to allow us to interact with tech eg payments, security systems, computing etc. (Does exist in development). But then some positives such as bionic limbs, communication devices etc.

So is it scary? Depends on which element! Better physically I’m all in. Cash free society whoa no!

ThreeFeetTall · 11/12/2020 14:24

If they are going for depopulation/infertility then why vax the over 50s??

Gigheimer · 11/12/2020 14:28

Lull us all into it three

I’m joking of course I meant there is merit in suspicion I don’t think it’s factually accurate the vaccine will be delivering that. A good war might though...

Presumptuous and judgemental of you.

Amortentia · 11/12/2020 14:42

God know, i find anti-vaxers absolutely crackers. I do judge anyone who refuses to inoculate or vaccinate their children, even though they themselves enjoy the protection it brings.

I judge anyone who refuses to vaccinate, protecting them, their family and the community based on some guff they googled.

Angrymum22 · 11/12/2020 14:45

I have been reliably informed that the vaccine only works in intelligent people.

This would just increase the issues we already have with an aging population.

If this were the case then people in the childbearing age group would be the ones targeted for vaccine, as it stands they are unlikely to receive it for a very long time.

oneglassandpuzzled · 11/12/2020 14:57

I'm glad we're stopping the over-80s having children.

Gigheimer · 11/12/2020 16:00

You do all realise I’m giving the reasoning as asked in OP?

I don’t actually believe we don’t trust Mable and Derek from getting jiggly with it!

Not at all wanting to ridicule anyone. Purely interested in a different perspective into how others think about the vaccine.

OP posts:
trulydelicious · 11/12/2020 17:32

@Gigheimer

In relation to your points (as I think you are trying to have a serious debate Smile )

I think the problem is that when there is a real issue and everyone is desperate (e.g. a new virus), there is a risk some will seize the opportunity to push agendas.

For instance:

. There was a whole article on an international newspaper a couple of months ago solely dedicated to explaining how you could catch Covid from paper notes and why they should be avoided and we should all go cashless instead (in reference to what you mentioned)

  • Global e-immunity passports as suggested by the WHO a few days ago (which could result in global centralised border control and loss of medical data privacy)
  • Trials of new medical treatments/technology by pharmaceutical companies for which they would struggle to recruit volunteers in normal times

So there could be more plausible trends to worry about than the crazy lizard / zombie / nano theories

Backyard72 · 11/12/2020 18:05

I've seen video of some supposed doctors saying that the vaccine will contain nanobots that can then be controlled by 5g networks to enslave us. Highly disturbing that people whose jobs are based on science can believe this codswallop.

Gigheimer · 11/12/2020 19:15

Truly I am in zero doubt that organisations will use this as an excuse to push forward less than savoury agendas.

Just don’t think they’ll do it in a vaccine. That’s the mad thing about conspiracies there can be a grain of truth (ok not lizard people) but it’s masked by the crazy.

Must be interesting to make up new theories, put them out there & see how far they go.
