Other than support bubbles.

Until spring.

Does anyone want to hazard a guess what tier London will be?

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 23/11/2020 16:54

Makes sense, it’s where cases happen as close contact and very likely no SD or masks.

FortuneSailedAway · 23/11/2020 16:54

Where have you seen that?

BunsyGirl · 23/11/2020 16:55

@iamusuallybeingunreasonable Tier 2 as it was previously.

Evening Standard are saying tier 2. I don’t think many places at all will be tier 1
iamusuallybeingunreasonable · 23/11/2020 16:58

I though as much, oh well, is what it is

Cripesitsthegasman19 · 23/11/2020 17:00

Christ, it's never-ending

Rollingfog · 23/11/2020 17:01

Is the rule of 6 outdoors for all tiers but only indoors for tier 1? What about restaurants. Will it be no mixing indoors tier 1&2?

Delatron · 23/11/2020 17:01

It’s really tricky for families that live far from each other so can’t meet outside for walks.

HotChocolate12 · 23/11/2020 17:06

Yes that is my understanding, inside only in tier 1, rule of 6 everywhere, only public places in tier 3
Augustbreeze · 23/11/2020 17:09

It's not necessarily until Spring because each area's tier gets reviewed fortnightly.

LemonBreeland · 23/11/2020 17:19

We've had it in Scotland for months. We only had a short time where we could go in houses. Except that the far north are now in tier 1 so they can mix.

tortoiseshell1985 · 23/11/2020 17:21

Hospitality won't reopen for us, no cafes, no pubs
Be none left by easter

starrynight19 · 23/11/2020 17:23

I bet it will be until Spring. It’s been that way for months and months now in the north west.

LadyCatStark · 23/11/2020 17:25

If the dickheads put us back into tier 3 despite there being 7 cases in the 3 villages that make up my parish in the last week I’ll be furious!

beckypv · 23/11/2020 17:38

Sounds likely there will be dispensation across all tiers at Christmas though.

user1471588124 · 23/11/2020 17:44

Will couples in serious relationships living apart be exempt?

Thatwentbadly · 23/11/2020 17:49

@beckypv

Which is one of the reasons that the tiers are so strict. I won’t be meeting anyone in doors at Christmas as it’s too risk for our family and the thought of spending the next 5 months not being able to go for a walk with a friend is sole destroying.

I assume bubbles will continue to be allowed for single adult households, that can’t change.
Augustbreeze · 23/11/2020 17:53

Bubbles still allowed.

ChasingRainbows19 · 23/11/2020 18:15

We’ve not mixed in houses since July in Greater Manchester. Not a new thing for us!

Username198 · 23/11/2020 18:17

@ChasingRainbows19 in fact we’ve only had 3/4 weeks off lockdown since March!

ChasingRainbows19 · 23/11/2020 18:17

You can’t go for a meal with others. But those of you in tier 1/2 can go to sporting/ other events inside with maybe 1000 other people.... Hmm socially distanced of course Wink

ChasingRainbows19 · 23/11/2020 18:18

@Username198 feel like it may as well have been March. My in-laws visited once outside but it rained. Then we went back to restrictions! No one else has been inside my house since.
