What do you think will happen on December 2nd? back to the tiers or something else?

Does anyone think hotels and b&bs might re-open?

userxx · 18/11/2020 09:13

@Noidea2114 That's a given isn't it, lockdown in January. Been in tier 3 since summer so it's not really that different, am sure we'll be straight back into tier 3 on 3rd December.

Sorry for sounding dim but is the country currently in a Tier 3 lockdown? I'm just trying to anticipate what will happen in London. Surely Tier 3 is no different to what we are in now.

ILookAtTheFloor · 18/11/2020 11:10

Tier 3 zoos, theme Parks etc can open. Also non essential retail and out of school activities.

I'd take tier 3, personally. Even though I burn with anger that more businesses are forced to remain closed.

Being a lockdown sceptic I'd rather have none but I can dream.

Viv0321 · 18/11/2020 11:36

Are zoos open in tier 3?

Frazzled2207 · 18/11/2020 12:02

everything is open in tier 3. Or it was anyway. You're just only allowed to go anywhere with people from your household. Any kind of meeting indoors with other households is banned. Think outside is ok up to 6 though.

Frazzled2207 · 18/11/2020 12:03

apols that is not correct. Pubs are closed in tier 3, but they can stay open if they serve 'substantial' food - which most of them were doing in some way or another.

Umm no...no one's said anything about lockdown in January.

Wrong.

You cannot meet people in a private garden, unless you live with them or have formed a support bubble with them.

^ That's taken from my local authority website.

Havent they ? I'm beyond giving a shit anyway.

Same here.

It's so frustrating. My friends wedding is mid December so they are unsure whether it will go ahead. Plus selfishly I can hardly see my partner whom I don't live with other than the occasional walk in the rain. He's quite a stickler for rules.
