@Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g

If you look at the page of delivery slots, there's a little calendar symbol at the top. If you click on that, you can move forward more than three days and see what's available for up to four weeks. That's how it works for me, anyway.
Thanks, I tried that but no joy.

Brings up the calendar but it is all greyed out. The latest date is shows for me is 21 September.

EveLe · 18/09/2020 09:43

Mine is all greyed out too, but I think that’s because I have Ocado Reserved slots booked until 14th October.

At one point, Ocado was only allowing those with “priority” to book 4 weeks ahead - to get this you had to have had any Anytime pass since 2019. Not sure if they have changed this to allow any pass holders to book ahead.

Have you tried setting up Ocado Reserved? That generates orders 4 weeks in advance so if it will allow you do set it up that may be a way of getting slots.

I’m actually not that impressed with the change to M&S, I thought Waitrose fresh products were much better! But, I only pay £1.99 for my Anytime pass, so I’m keeping it going in case of problems getting deliveries elsewhere - during the first lockdown Ocado was the only supermarket I could guarantee having a weekly delivery from.

I’m now using a weekly Ocado delivery for store cupboard products, and then a weekly Tesco delivery for fresh items. Tesco is allowing delivery pass holders to book 4 weeks ahead.

There seems to be plenty of slots available in our area at the moment despite being on lock down, but if slots start becoming scarce then my DM will use my Ocado slot, and I’ll keep the Tesco deliveries.

viccat · 18/09/2020 11:07

Ocado emailed me this morning to say slots are going fast and to book ahead. So I did, and now have deliveries booked once a week until 15th October. Can't help feeling like I need to panic buy and make sure I get all the things I struggled to get when lockdown started earlier this year (cat litter! bread!).

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 18/09/2020 11:23

Ah, I'm probably still a Most Valued Customer. Grin I've had an account with Ocado for 16 years, I have an Anytime Smart Pass and I don't often use any other supermarket.

Noflora · 18/09/2020 12:11

3 missing items today. A pizza and 2 pot salads. No subs. Really? No other pizza in the warehouse? Not terrible but not up to Ocado standards, those were ordered weeks ago so what has happened? M&S items, so does that mean M&S cannot always fulfil their delivery commitment?

FlamingoAndJohn · 18/09/2020 17:39

I’ve noticed that a week ago I could book a slot for any day now I can’t book a slot 2 days either side of a booked slot.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 18/09/2020 18:01

I’ve found today that I’m back to one slot every seven days but I have been able to book up to the first week in October.

FlamingoAndJohn · 18/09/2020 20:00

I don’t want to go back to the days of having to book at 3 am.

gillybean2 · 19/09/2020 11:33

Waitrose order came this week. First direct order since lockdown when I had a pre booked delivery and then no slots available for weeks. So nice to have some regular items back that there are no like for like substitutes for from Ocado/m&s now. Plus I got some nice options in the Chinese meal deal thst I’d never seen on Ocado. I got a £20 off if I spent £100, which came through in the post in the ‘because we care because it’s right’ mailing.
I’ve prebooked Ocado weekly for the next three weeks but am spending a lot less than I was. I will try and get a Waitrose slot once a month but going on lockdown I can’t be relying on it. Reasonable availability of slots in my area for Ocado and Waitrose but concerned to hear not the same for everyone.
Still getting flash sales here, I wasn’t tempted by the preserved jar of lemons for £7 or anything else mind you and I did check thoroughly in case of delayed free toblerone but no... maybe I’m still getting flash sales as they know I won’t actually go for them!

Whydoyouthinkthatthen · 21/09/2020 08:57

I am back to 1 every 7 days as well. Oh dear.

PersephonePromotesEquanimity · 21/09/2020 09:07

Yes ... One day a week on the calendar, now, and everything after October 8 greyed out.

PersephonePromotesEquanimity · 21/09/2020 11:40

Oh good grief! Those of you jumping ship to Waitrose - how do you manage?

On the Waitrose app - decided to have a wander around World Foods. Which apparently include Waitrose Essential Onions and Duchy Organic Potatoes ...

Confused Hmm

Please tell me it's a blip?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/09/2020 13:20

dammit, no slots after the 30th Sept for me. I should have got my act together but didn't.

wendz86 · 21/09/2020 13:59

Mine seems to have gone back to every 7 days too.

Glad to see they are taking bags from tomorrow, my cupboard is overflowing.

StanfordPines · 21/09/2020 22:38

Have you had notice about the bags? I’ve not heard anything.

help.ocado.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008832638-Do-you-plan-to-take-back-carrier-bags-again-for-recycling-

Do you plan to take back carrier bags again for recycling?
We will resume charging for, and buying back, carrier bags from 22nd September.

Will I be refunded when I return my saved bags?
Yes, you will; however, please note that our drivers can only collect one filled bag per delivery.

blog.ocado.com/how-ocado-works/bag-recycling-were-collecting-from-22nd-september/ (Blog post)

  1. Our drivers will bring your delivery to your door.
  2. You need to bag up your bags in one outer Ocado carrier bag.
  3. The driver will take just one bagful per delivery to be recycled.
  4. The bags are recycled as part of our closed-loop process.

Don’t worry if you have a few other brands’ bags mixed in there. We won’t judge! If you’ve got more than just one single bagful, we’ll pick up another bagful to be recycled during each delivery to your home.

Have I been charged for my bags and will I get refunded?

We haven’t charged for the bags we gave you between 21st March – 21st September, so the refund for bags collected will be capped at the number of bags you were last charged for. In other words, if you had a delivery on 20th March and were charged for 12 bags, we’ll then refund you the cost of those 12 bags. After 22nd September, we’ll continue to cap the refund at the number of bags you received in each of your previous orders.

How will my refund be calculated?

The refund for bags collected will be capped at the number of bags you were charged for in the last order prior to 21st March. In other words, if you had a delivery on 20th March and were charged for 12 bags, we’ll then refund you the cost of those 12 bags. We haven’t charged you for any bags between 21st March and 21st September.

GaryUnicorn · 22/09/2020 09:24

Why is so much out of stock, even for orders in two weeks time? Basic things, like jars of horseradish sauce, or icing sugar, M&S wraps. At least half a dozen things I noticed, and I had to buy the dearer option. And as for the ‘book your slots quickly’ emails, I’m cynical. I think a lot of it is hype, for the time being, especially in the region I live.

lexloofah · 22/09/2020 09:52

I am in SW and have weekly orders booked to 19th Oct.

I haven't had any emails about booking slots though, in fact I never get emails from them other than order confirmations and I have checked the market communications is ticked. Am I missing out on much, offers and such?

I have to say that the smart pass has paid for itself this week. We are isolating pending test results and it is DS birthday so I got delivery of all the last minute things I would normally grab and food for birthday meal which we were not originally planning on cooking at home

wendz86 · 22/09/2020 09:59

So i can't hand a bag of a lot of very small folder bags back. I might just give them loads back anyway as need them out my house.

LittleRen · 22/09/2020 10:06

I have always had a Saturday delivery and pay for an anytime smart pss. Now all I see are Mon/Tuesdays... anyone else having this??

shallwethree · 22/09/2020 14:00

Hi @lexloofah

About nine months ago I stopped getting any marketing (just confirmation). After asking about it three times, they finally bothered to investigate and discovered that some of their emails to me had bounced, so they had put me on a permanent 'no marketing' list. I've now been removed from that list and get the emails again.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 22/09/2020 14:28

I'm in the south, I can't get any more delivery slots at all. Which is somewhat poo really. Any tips please?

tootyfruitypickle · 22/09/2020 15:20

@shallwethree that happened to me too. I had to throw my toys out of the pram a little to get the marketing emails back and they are useful along with free Percy pigs and price promise vouchers . They point blank denied it was their end initially though over about 4/5 emails!

Mirrorxx · 22/09/2020 15:45

@LittleRen I have the same problem. I pay for an anytime pass but only slots on Monday’s and Tuesday for the next month show on the calendar
