Ocado priority, tips and hacks and Toblerone

Just put in an order for a couple of weeks time and ive been offered free percy pigs

My order is on its way to the local distribution depot according to the site. Managed to gat £150 of shopping for £44 yesterday, as they were reducing all the Waitrose stuff by 50-75%. Wine, port, cheese. Bought quite a few Christmas presents.

I won’t be boycotting based on the Bamford connection. JCB are a huge employer here providing a wage for a lot of my friends and family in an area where our industry has shipped abroad and jobs are not easy to come by.

In avoidance of Ocado weird week and on a bit of a plastic mission, I’ve done a local veg box - all lovely loose produce - I’m picking up a butcher box tomorrow and had an Iceland delivery for basics frozen/tea bags/loo roll etc. (Although that came in plastic bags). I might do a Waitrose next week for nice stuff like toiletries and gin but I don’t think I’ve spent any more this week than Ocado would have been.

@Fuss - no problem your personal choice! Just stating my choice - my contrast, my line of work has been severely impacted and reduced by Brexit.

Not as good as a toblerone, but just been offered some Percy pigs as a free gift for next weeks order!

Just now, I tried to start a shop and was met by the little lorry on the page and 193 people queueing in front of me. There aren't any slots round here until Sunday night. I wonder if that is because lots of people have returned from Europe and are having to quarantine, or is everybody excited about M&S food?

I haven't been held in a queue since beginning of lockdown-although to be fair it was only a handful in front of me and less than a minute-
maybe an early rush of M&S euphoria?

I also got the free Percy Pig offer-I do prefer them to toblerones!

Just had my receipt email for today. Ordered 2 packs of Whitby Buns @£1.35 a packet. They have subbed them with 2 lemon curd Swiss rolls. And charged me the higher price. They’ll be handed back...

One of the subs I handed back this morning was 2 x 2.5kg bags of white potatoes instead of the 2 x small M&S ready-made mash I had ordered.

How on Earth have they managed to fuck this up so badly, this has been 18 months in planning!

Bit worried about tomorrow's order arriving being cancelled now.

I've just got straight in to edit Thursdays order.
Lots of complaints over on FB about cancelled orders though. If they cancel mine and I don't get my Percy Pig Ice Cream I swear i'll put their windows through 😂

My order today was all there apart from some nail polish remover.

I’ve treated myself to an M&S prepared salad for first day back to work tomorrow and it looks great.

Just heard my whole order is there, which is a relief!
