Thats crazy but not surprising Princess. Hope you gave them a bollocking.

Watching NS on tv just now.
Scotland stats are down 1/4 on same time last month apparently.
Lifting restrictions from 28th if everything still on course. Thank feck. Whooohoo we can meet in parks etc with other families if sd. Not that that effects me at all😞 i suppose we could go sit in my aunts garden but i cant go 8 hrs without going to the loo🤣🤣 Sports/hobbies
At least we will be allowed to drive for exercise. Some sports also named as being allowed crikey there is a lot of possible good stuff just need to wait for another couple of weeks.
Schools going back in a fashion in August yeah! Teachers going in in June to prepare. More key kids allowed June/july. Thank you teachers. Gov, teachers and unions have sorted it out between themselves without the hysteria there seems to be elsewhere. Who would have thunk it?

Ds2 just said "So can i go meet my mates?" No not yet! Police are cruising around here (not doing much else as town is quiet but i dont want him to give them an excuse!) Suggested his mate comes round in a week and they could sit in garden but thats too naff🤣🤣🤣
Garden centres will open too but nearest big one is an hour away and will be rammed to start with so no joy there. Love a wander round dobies spending my pretend millions😉 Will stick to small local one.
Am trying to be positive and see it as a step forward. No fan of NS but have to suck it up.

Why is a bit of my last post missing??? Phone has a mind of its own😀

Willow2017 · 21/05/2020 13:19

Although the school thing is a bit of a back handed compliment. No way are kids going to be ready for exams next may with part time learning. Ds2 is supposed to be doing a college course as well as Nat 4s snd 5s. He cant do that from home. How do they expect kids to pass exams without proper classes?

CrowCat · 21/05/2020 13:39

Afternoon you lot! Well the sun is out and DD2 is thrilled to have her best friend round in the garden for a social distance catch up after 2 months. I drew a couple of chalk squares on the ground and I've given them ice lollies and a 'no hugging' order. They are thrilled!! 2 months without any contact with her bezzie has taken its toll but it's amazing how quick they bounce back 😊

I'm sunning myself because I'm pasty and I'd like to have at least a slight glow when I finally meet up with my post lockdown man friend 😏

Willow2017 · 21/05/2020 14:53

Crowcat thats great glad they are having some fun in the sun.

Well shortly after i put the heating on because i was bloody frozen the rain stopped and sun came out! So been out potting up my new plants. Need more! 😄

GnomeDePlume · 21/05/2020 15:46

Princess oh yes, real quality job done there!

Willow2017 in a garden centre? Those pretend millions wont go far, some over priced garden furniture and two slices of carrot cake will probably do for most of it!

CrowCat · 21/05/2020 15:56

Well they spoiled it slightly by running off up the street the minute my back was turned and getting drenched by my next door neighbours hose pipe - I really hope that's a smokers cough he has! - but otherwise they've behaved really well.

Willow2017 · 21/05/2020 17:45

I would be sending the photos to the council and demanding compensation and/or a fence put up to replace your hedge. Thats appaling!

Willow2017 · 21/05/2020 17:49

I have nowhere nice to put garden furniture here so i would just buy plants and more plants and pots and some overpriced things from the posh food hall and kitchen ware dept🤣

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 21/05/2020 17:57

I'd be happy with just a fence to secure our garden and fuck them. That's my main issue now. OH rang the HA who actually carried the work and apparently no work was schedules, no notices, nothing on file. Well it was their people in their van, wearing their uniform so nice try. Kicking myself for not taking pics or asking names now.

Good morning all! Work has been insanely busy, but I am one of those fortunate souls who work flexible hours, so I'll be having all that time back (once I'm allowed to do more fun things with it!) Hasn't left much time for racking up the kill count, but I did manage a swim yesterday morning.

I have four days off after today (I'm a civil servant, we get a weird extra bank holiday. Because the Queen.) so I'm sure I will be out and about shamelessly at some point. Hoping for decent weather for a good long walk.

Looking forward to placing a strain on the NHS next week when I have my 12 week scan. I already feel like I've been pregnant for approximately 100 years so it would be nice to have confirmation that there's really a baby there.

CrowCat · 22/05/2020 12:55

Hi all .. currently feeling like death after a kick-ass migraine randomly turned up last night. No sleep, lots of up chucking. Fun times. I won't even be drawing the curtains back today. Luckily I've got no work on.

Piccadilly ooh I remember looking forward to that 12 week scan!! You know you're pregnant but until you actually see the baby on the scan it doesn't really seem real! It's like oh yes you're pregnant and then nothing else seems to happen for ages!!

Willow2017 · 22/05/2020 14:56

Picadilly
Omg! Dont you know swimming is soooo selfish? To almost quote another poster on a thread cant remember exactly "cant you just bloody wait till its safe"? 🤣🤣
Am pretty jealous tbh. Cant swim in sea here its too bloody cold just now and i am not a strong swimmer i like to just do my own thing but i love being in water.

Crowcat hope you feel better and no more migraines for ever. Laze on sofa with tv day prescribed.😄

I have the rage so should get off mn! The thread about ops abusive ex using sunscreen to cause an allergic reaction in dd to get at op is insane. Its "cancel the cheque" all over again. Apparently its ops job to ensure he uses the right stuff by sending him some (which he already has!) as he is just a thick bloke who doesn't know any better and its the 3yr olds job to stand up to him and stop him plastering her in it! Wtaf? Thankfully Ops GP is going to be intervening as its abuse and dd had huge reaction this time.

Christ i give up on here sometimes and dont even mention the 'single people struggling' thread! Between the oneupmanship and "suck it up or you're a murderer" posts it is cringeworthy.

Had plans for garden today but its a force 10 gale out there! Nearly blown off the step when sat diwn for coffee and cig. Blasted with leaves and dirt and coffee ruined. So now stuck in doors with housework or xbox...hmmmm😉

CrowCat · 22/05/2020 15:26

Willow thanks, I've got curtains on, Netflix and a blanket. I've had so many migraines during lockdown it's getting ridiculous!

The sunscreen thread is insane!! Obviously it's down to the mum to parent the ex too, as he's clearly incapable of following simple instructions. Grrr.. I had similar when it turned out DD2 is lactose intolerant. Took ages to get through to exh to please stop giving her milkshake!!

110APiccadilly · 22/05/2020 18:36

@Willow yep, I'm just selfish, that's it! After all, there's water in the lake where I swim. If I have The Plague, it might get washed downstream. And then someone might get splashed by the water and get ill and die!! It's not worth the risk!!

@CrowCat hope you feel better soon.

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 22/05/2020 19:23

@CrowCat must be the 5g signals. They got you!!

Willow it always baffles me how some posters expect so much more from children in general , than from adults, particularly men. Kids must be perfect , while shitty behaviour from men always has some kind of excuse.

Peggy how's Trev doing? Interrogating everyone else?

101 that's it, you contaminated the waters, the wildlife, the cats and everything else. Hell don't you know water evaporates? Next time it rains it'll be acid Covid rain! You're gonna kill us all!!

Hells bells all those selfish feckers swimming outside!!! We are dooomed, dooomed I tell you.

Princess yep I noticed on MN all kids are liars and badly behaved sociopaths not to mention plague carriers with or without covid . All adults especially men are perfection personified or need 'a little woman' to take them by the hand and guide them through life.

Peggysgettingcrazy · 22/05/2020 20:55

Peggyhow's Trev doing? Interrogating everyone else?

The dick has crossed new boundaries. I have put in a complaint. He started asking me to disclose if my kids get sick.

My test came back negative (as expected) but he told me it could be a false negative and to keep him updated of the kids develop symptoms and let him know ASAP.

He isnt the person I need to report anything to. Especially, private details about the kids.

But right now.....i am getting pissed so fucking Trev can wait until Monday!

Will catch up on the tread when I am suitably hungover in the AM.

Hope you are all OK (or as ok as can expected in this shit storm)

Peggysgettingcrazy · 22/05/2020 20:56

oops no...he can wait until Tuesday! Keep forgetting its Bank Holiday. Grin

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 22/05/2020 21:03

Bloody hell he sure is good at overstepping! No wonder you got pissy.
Enjoy the booze will be right here with bells and whistles waiting for you in the morning Grin

Well that was a doozy of a day. That migraine really knocked me flat!

I was supposed to do the zoom pub quiz thing with possible post-lockdown beau tonight, messaged him this morning to say I'd have to pull out because of migraine and he left me on read! Not even a sorry Crow hope you survive the 5G migraine! Pfft. Men.

Willow2017 · 22/05/2020 23:45

Aww sod him Crow the git!

Peggy Well done he needs a good old rap on the knuckles and a lesson in confidentiality and what his actual job is! What an idiot.
