International travel to the US

Trump is looking at international travel. The US is considering testing for coronavirus on the plane.
He’s acknowledged much of Florida’s business comes from international travel, particularly from South America.
Theme parks and attractions looking to open in phases, with some restrictions initially.
America are clearly keen to get their economy up and running at whatever cost.

I worry about how Trump has handled COVID and as Florida has a large elderly population, it’s a concern that there will be a big spike there.

Our flight to Canada for our honeymoon next month just got cancelled. Thought it was inevitable we wouldn't be going but was kind of expecting for the airline to string it out a bit longer. I hope people with holidays later in the year can get away on terms that work for them.

I decided to postpone my trip to Florida to next year as US borders are still closed for Europeans. I’d also rather wait until the virus is under control to avoid contributing to spreading it. I assume when restrictions are lifted, they’ll ask for the vaccine passport ( www.covidpasscertificate.com/ ) to travel on top of the measures some people mentioned (tests and temperature scanners).

Anyway, I’m hoping to be able to travel soon and check out the recommendations you guys shared. Thanks!
