Up to £625 and expenses paid.

It’s a no from me!

Not a fucking chance.

SquirtleSquad · 22/04/2020 00:22

I'd certainly have looked into it before having children but now with a young family, possibly selfishly, I couldn't imagine doing it!

PanicOnTheStreets85 · 22/04/2020 00:24

They are doing my area but I think I'll leave it until it's been thoroughly tested.

BirdieFriendReturns · 22/04/2020 00:24

I just wondered if the people who are “sobbing and shaking” over someone buying non-essentials in the supermarket are going to volunteer. Or the Stasi officers who make notes of when their neighbours leave the house.

Ooh you can't do it if breastfeeding anyway, so that's me out.

Hagisonthehill · 22/04/2020 00:28

My areas not mentioned,I would consider it otherwise.

BirdieFriendReturns · 22/04/2020 00:28

Or the people who decree that you can’t sick on a park bench and have a snack...any volunteers from you?

ZombieFan · 22/04/2020 00:31

Looks like easy money, thanks for the link.

BenjiB · 22/04/2020 00:31

Not a chance in hell!

PanicOnTheStreets85 · 22/04/2020 01:05

you can’t sick on a park bench and have a snack

If you're sicking on a park bench I think you should probably just go home.

Murinae · 22/04/2020 01:10

Can’t I have a heart condition so not eligible

SquirtleSquad · 22/04/2020 01:11

@PanicOnTheStreets85 Grin

millymaple · 22/04/2020 01:29

Applied but wasn’t eligible.

ClarkGriswoldsChristmastree19 · 22/04/2020 01:33

It’ll sadly be made up mostly of people desperate for the money Sad

circusintown · 22/04/2020 01:33

God give it a rest. Stasi officers Hmm. You're just as bad and are contributing to the problem

Opinewine · 22/04/2020 01:35

It is not that unusual - there is Flu Camp. Not sure I like the idea of being injected with a vaccine but I might if I was fit and carefree.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 22/04/2020 06:47

No because DS is 6 and I'm a single parent so it's not possible for me to leave him to go and do medical trials.

If I didn't have a child I 100% would do it as I'm fit and healthy.

BillywilliamV · 22/04/2020 06:52

Definitely, I wish I lived closer to a testing area.

Lovelydovey · 22/04/2020 06:53

I’m the wrong part of London but would definitely have considered if not.

DeathByBoredom · 22/04/2020 06:55

No thank you Smile Had it already. Happy to donate antibodies though

Hopefully the worried well are going to be first in line so they can leave their houses without peeing their pants in fear

EdithWeston · 22/04/2020 06:57

They are doing my area but I think I'll leave it until it's been thoroughly tested

Grin They'd hardly be calling for test volunteers once through testing was complete!

I can't - I don't live near enough to any of the trials

bengalcat · 22/04/2020 06:58

Too old but we’re near Imperial so will forward link to my student daughter she might be interested .

KatherineJaneway · 22/04/2020 06:59

My area isn't mentioned

EdithWeston · 22/04/2020 07:00

Happy to donate antibodies though

Youcan do this when you give blood - they've been emailing reguiar donors to ask, and I expect would register new ones for thus purpose

DeathByBoredom · 22/04/2020 07:09

Yes, I am applying. Not via blood donor list though but direct. Interesting that they are testing blood donors. I was put off donating blood as I had been ill. I'll ask them what their policy is.
