Slippers inside, wellies outside - we're v rural. No need for the others.

What are you not using at all?

OP posts:
Shadowdoor21 · 13/04/2020 19:25

No trousers. It's just me in the place so I wear a tshirt and pants all day and that's it. Also stopped shaving my armpits which youd think would be grim but actually discovered I kinda like it. Might even die the hair purple with a half pack of die I found xD just for shits and giggles.

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 13/04/2020 19:31

I had to call up the bank because I couldn't find my card and I couldn't retrace steps because I genuinely couldn't remember the last time I used it.
And the guy couldn't believe I hadn't used a card for 2 weeks and I was like I'm in lock down.

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 13/04/2020 19:32

Oh yes a watch. I've caught the sun and for the first time in years I don't have a strap mark

CliveyBaby · 13/04/2020 19:34

I am only wearing makeup one day a week - the day we have our online meeting! It's lovely!
My new "uniform" is very fetching lilac tracksuit bottoms, slippers, smartish top + cardi (sometimes have spontaneous online meetings on other days too!)

GrumpiestOldWoman · 13/04/2020 19:37

No:

Watch
Bra
Tights
Shapewear
Shoes
Earrings
Proper trousers/skirts
Handbag
Travel mug
Nail polish

I've lived in slippers, jogging bottoms or leggings plus smart jumper or top (work video calls Grin )

Eloisedublin123 · 13/04/2020 19:38

Going grey and loving it!

I've not worn shoes, a bra or make up for 3 weeks
TwentyViginti · 13/04/2020 19:40

Your silvering hair is lovely, Eloise!

VortexofBloggery · 13/04/2020 19:40

I don't know where my house keys are and I keep forgetting to look for them.

PegasusReturns · 13/04/2020 19:40

My diary Grin

Spanielmadness · 13/04/2020 19:42

I never wear a bra or makeup, so staying in super comfy clothes has been my change. Although, I’m self employed and can wear what I like, so I’m usually comfy for work as well. Life is too short! :)

DrMadelineMaxwell · 13/04/2020 19:42

My hair was already overdue dyeing when this all kicked off. It wasn't showing too much due to having gone blonde, but it was really ready to be done. And now it can't/won't be. And I don't care.

PegasusReturns · 13/04/2020 19:42

Bra
Airwrap
Make up
Any clothes with a zip Blush
Watch
Handbag

I have however been enjoying working my way though my perfume subscription

WellTidy · 13/04/2020 19:43

Make up primer
Make up remover
Make up remover pads
Tweezers!
Heat protector hair spray
Hair Straighteners
Tights
Proper shoes - just wearing slippers and trainers
My good coat
Umbrella - it’s barely rained but I would just choose a dry time of day to go out for a walk
Handbag
Purse (DH is doing the food shop and I know my debit card numbers off by heart for online orders)
Travelcard
Work pass
House key - there is always someone at home to let me in!

No use for dry cleaners either

In contrast, my use of hand cream has gone through the roof

iMatter · 13/04/2020 19:46

You're brave OP!

I'm still wearing trousers with a proper waistband (and a bra) because I'm scared of what will happen if I don't!

ilovemydogandmrobama2 · 13/04/2020 19:47

Not used:

car keys
train pass
bra
deodorant - please don't judge me
make up
work shoes
tights

and much of my brain Grin

EsmeShelby · 13/04/2020 19:48

No jewellery
No shoes
No bus pass
No makeup
Haven't styled my hair
No tights

Eloisedublin123 · 13/04/2020 19:48

Thank you!

DrMadelineMaxwell · 13/04/2020 19:49

But I'd be more uncomfortable without a bra than with one in the daytime.

forgetthehousework · 13/04/2020 19:49

No bra except when necessary shopping/daily exercise
Same for watch
Same for decent clothes
I haven't worn makeup for weeks
But I do put on perfume nearly every day
Bliss.

thunderthighsohwoe · 13/04/2020 19:49

Only time I’ve put a bra on is when I’ve been on rota at school (teacher) and even then it’s been a spirts bra as we’ve been doing Joe Wicks! Standard uniform is leggings and a t shirt in the day, pyjama leggings and t shirt in the evening, with trainers and a fleece added for daily walks.

Toddler poked my braless boobs earlier and said ‘squash’

MigginsMs · 13/04/2020 19:51

Hair dryer
Straighteners
Razor
Tweezers
Makeup
Tights
Jeans
Any form of work clothing
Perfume
Proper shoes - slippers or trainers

I have massive boobs so still wear a bra some days but have cropped top ones

Craftycorvid · 13/04/2020 19:51

Living in about two changes of outfit and my running gear. Henna my hair occasionally. My gel manicure is half grown out and I’m toying with leaving my nails natural after. Not worn make-up in three weeks. Weird experience all of it because I do like getting dressed up and I like wearing make up - now wondering about that? I will have to bung on some sunblock soon as freckles are sprouting (along with a healthy tache). I do wear a bra though, or me norks would totally fail with social distancing all by themselves Grin

ProfessorPollington · 13/04/2020 19:52

Loving this thread. Handbag wallet and tube pass all retired. Just take 2 cards in a pocket when I shop. Thinking of chucking wallet, is ancient anyway and can't imagine needing it again! Started wearing work tops for calls. Have massive silver streak coming in and thinking it might be permanent.

DidoLamenting · 13/04/2020 19:53

I am still getting dressed properly every day. I'm working from home Monday to Friday. I usually wear very formal, dressed-up work wear in the office (I loathe and avoid dress down Fridays with a passion). I'm not wearing formal office wear but I've gone through my wardrobe and on work days I wear things I haven't worn for a while/ dresses and skirts which are either too boho/too unusual/even too dressy for normal office wear. I've worn something different every day.

I wear tights, bra, jewellery, shoes , perfume and the same amount of fairly minimal makeup I'd normally wear.

At weekends I wear my normal weekend dresses or skirts

Slobbing around would be bad for my mental health.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 13/04/2020 19:54

Only thing I'm not using is a watch because we are bare from the elbow down at work. Normally it is quite laid back as I'm a nurse in mental health but not at the moment for obvious reasons.

On my days off, I make an effort with a bra but don't always get properly dressed. Loungewear has always been a favorite of mine, now it seems acceptable.
