Local independent coffee shop.

I just want to go and sit with my book.

MajesticWhine · 11/04/2020 23:08

Desperate for an eyebrow thread here too.

Leah2005 · 11/04/2020 23:11

The tip so that I can get rid of all our green waste

InflagranteDelicto · 11/04/2020 23:12

Yarn shop. Proper yarn shop with the needles I like, wool wash and lush sock yarn.

LittleMissLumpy · 11/04/2020 23:14

Flying Tiger
and any chain coffee shop

Movinghouseatlast · 11/04/2020 23:16

Garden centre. Give me compost!!!

namechangenumber2 · 11/04/2020 23:17

@shirleyschmidt , oh I love Homesense!!

Bluebooby · 11/04/2020 23:17

I really want some more board games to play with dd. I don't know which shop would have them. Haven't seen any in the supermarket near me. Maybe a tk maxx. There aren't actually any shops I'm missing. I mostly just went to the supermarket anyway! And I've never enjoyed the hairdressers so I've been doing my hair at home for years now.

PickAChew · 11/04/2020 23:20

My heart wants to stuff b&q and take a bus ride into Newcastle for a waitrose shop. M&S has some lovely produce but my curries are becoming quite pedestrian

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/04/2020 23:28

Our local M&S is open for food ( I did think about going yesterday in the NHS slot but I gave myself a talking to as it would've been Non Essential)

Are the clothes dept shut then in M&S ? I need new shoes and that's my Go-To . I usually do Collect From Store .

OhTheRoses · 11/04/2020 23:32

If it's just one shop it has to be the garden centre. I'd like a rhododendron, new gardening gloves, and some big terracotta pots. Have a Parkers delivery coming in May.

Hairdresser would be nice but having my roots done wouldn't keep me occupied for three weeks.

Oh for the hairdressers, I shall go providing my hairdresser and I have no symptoms. CV is rather rare 80,000/66,000,000 x 100.

squishee · 11/04/2020 23:33

The bridal shop where my wedding dress is waiting for me to have a fitting and the jeweller's where our wedding rings are ready and waiting for us to collect them ...

Charlottejade89 · 12/04/2020 00:06

primark - I'm desperate for a few summer bits for myself, dp and dd and I really begrudge pay a fiver for a pair of flip flops from prettylittlething when I know I can get some for 90p in primark. Dd also need some shoes as all she has are winter boots and converse, no sandals but every website I've tried doesnt have anything in her size

WhiteChocTwix · 12/04/2020 00:21

My eyebrow lady. 🤨 Hair I can handle getting long but the brows need sorting pronto.

Zisforstripyoss · 12/04/2020 00:24

That Lindt shop where you can get pick & mix on the lindt balls.

MARMITEcheese2020 · 12/04/2020 00:27

Charity shops. I've sorted so much stuff. I've bagged and put inside loft hatch but it's bothering me more than it should knowing I've cleared out the cupboards etc but it's still here.
Although I put on our local neighbourhood page today some of my dcs newborn stuff a bin liner full and a moses with stand. Free to collector and would leave at end of drive. Plus some toys etc. Everything bar one dress went. The way I see it is I've helped people with shops shut and they've collected on their daily walk.

MARMITEcheese2020 · 12/04/2020 00:29

@70isaLimitNotaTarget yes the clothing depts are closed off. Only food open

Littlepond · 12/04/2020 00:30

Nando’s. I really want a Nando’s.

Tolleshunt · 12/04/2020 00:38

Next for summer clothes for DD. She’s outgrown most of last year’s stuff and only fits trousers and leggings from there. Plus they have totally nailed the delivery.

Gail’s for me. I’d start with a breakfast of a latte and pancakes, stay for lunch of Harira, have afternoon coffee with a massive big fuck-off slice of carrot cake and then take a seeded sourdough home. Sigh. Can you tell I love it in there?!

DariaMorgendorffer · 12/04/2020 00:40

Pub Wine

Tolleshunt · 12/04/2020 00:40

DD (4) is Jonesing for a Happy Meal. These are a rare enough treat for her at the best of times, but knowing she really can’t have one, even if mummy wasn’t being mean, has led her to desperation! She’s also pissed off about soft play being closed.

SeasonallySnowyPeasant · 12/04/2020 00:40

B&Q so I could get some supplies to redecorate the living room and kids’ bedrooms.

Holothane · 12/04/2020 00:47

Peacocks for loads of new jimmies.

RubyMonster · 12/04/2020 00:48

Lush. I usually go in once a week because I love the soaps so much. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but the colours and smells make me happy. I’ve nearly run out now except for a tiny bit of karma soap.

TheSandman · 12/04/2020 00:49

There's a charity shop I know that sells DVDs books and CDs for 25p each. I'm really missing my weekly go through their boxes. I bought 60 CDs there one week.
