Are you cleaning your shopping? Cans & packets etc? And what about your post?

Had a delivery last night (after waiting 3 weeks for a slot!!). Hubby said to wash everything, but then he even kicked up a fuss when I asked him to mow the tiny piece of front lawn as he was concerned about people spitting on it, and then having to disinfect the mower.. ok, he's got a point but..), so anyway I had a sink full of fruit and veg washed, but then I just took most contents out of boxes, and stuck things like butter, cheese etc., in the fridge without washing. Afterwards, bleached the tops, and washed my hands. It took almost an hour. Some stuff got washed, some stuff didn't. I don't do post.

I clean my shopping and wash hands after opening posts and parcels.

Nope and no wonder i can't get any dettol wipes for my sides as loads seem to be using to clean there food .
Would concern me washing all my food stuff in bleach as well. We wash hands when we come in , wash hands before eating and keep surfaces regularly cleaned but I can't get round to cleaning the shopping or quarantining the post , just open it, dispose of envelopes and wash hands
