I feel really shaken by this, I hope he pulls through.

DavetheCat2001 · 06/04/2020 20:33

..suffice to say wishing Boris a speedy recovery

Lelophants · 06/04/2020 20:33

Horrible. And he was still trying to run the country! I actually feel very sorry for him now.

Frangipanini · 06/04/2020 20:33

This is really shit news. Boris is actually the only person who can kick start our failing country again.

I actually quite like him. I hope he pulls through for both his own and for our sakes.

aut0replenish · 06/04/2020 20:33

It's fake news according to the government

That every news outlet is announcing?

Who in government is saying this?

Stet · 06/04/2020 20:34

I feel very tearful too, which has surprised me. It suddenly feels very real. We've been quite safely cocooned in our house, and it's felt like something that is happening elsewhere but not in our front room, but seeing that pop up on my phone made my heart skip a beat. He's 10 years younger than my parents. It's fucking terrifying.

Yep, another one who would never vote conservative but I like Boris. I hope he pulls through.

Sending my thoughts to him and his family. ❤️💙💜

Comefromaway · 06/04/2020 20:34

The child ill on the floor in a & e was a proven hoax.

Neve been a fan of Boris but he’s done his best for the college try in all this. Hoping he pulls through.

I’m hoping that this is a stunt to get the public to take the lockdown more seriously and that he is fine.

But I’m sure it’s not, I am wishing Boris and every other person currently suffering from Coronavirus a speedy recovery

esjee · 06/04/2020 20:34

I've had a bad feeling since it was announced he had it. I really do hope he's ok, I feel bizarrely sad for him.

Smithtylater · 06/04/2020 20:34

You don't get admitted to ICU as a precaution! Omg poor Boris hope he gets better soon...

MyShinyWhiteTeeth · 06/04/2020 20:34

It's been a possibility ever since we heard he'd gone to hospital. People that don't get it mildly need to go to hospital when they start having problems breathing.

TheGreatWave · 06/04/2020 20:35

I feel like the whole nation have just had a huge wake up call.

Me too, a "shit, this is really happening" moment.

PicsInRed · 06/04/2020 20:35

Got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach about this

Yes. He looked so very ill at that last Thursday clap. He just looked so desperate to look ok and it was abundantly clear that he was very much not ok. He appeared frail.

His poor family and loved ones.
Is Carrie still isolated? How awful.

Cremebrule · 06/04/2020 20:35

I wasn’t surprised. Things were clearly quite serious when he went in yesterday and I couldn’t understand the line from no.10 about him still being in control when he was obviously very poorly indeed. I also got the impression Victoria McDonald knew more than she was saying on channel 4 news.

It must be a terrible worry for his girlfriend and children but constitutionally there is a bit of a crisis. He could quite easily be sedated for a long time or worse and Raab isn’t an appealing stand-in.

I hope to God that he will be ok

backaftera2yearbreak · 06/04/2020 20:35

I cannot abide the Tories or their policies. Person 1st politics second. I hope he recovers.

valentinevalentine · 06/04/2020 20:35

How rude are people saying 'link?' 'Source?'. Dear me, manners cost nothing

FenellaVelour · 06/04/2020 20:35

Really worrying not just for the stability of the country, but more importantly for his family and his fiancée who must be beside herself.
Really hope he pulls through. Poor man.
