Oh Boris no 🙁

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 06/04/2020 20:28

That was crass of me to say that , it was the shock. I so hope he recovers.

Givemeabreakpls · 06/04/2020 20:28

50/50...good god I hope he’s ok. As others have said above, he’s far from my favourite politician but I hope he pulls through. Terrifying times for everyone whose loved ones are suffering

Lelophants · 06/04/2020 20:29

This doesn't bode well:(

notsureneversure · 06/04/2020 20:29

Can’t stand the man or his politics but thoughts are with his pregnant girlfriend and his family. No different to anyone else at this point - he’ll be unaware of much but his family will be very frightened. Every death is a tragedy; let’s hope for a recovery.

@CherryPavlova I agree with every word of this. Hopefully this is just a precaution and he’s not in any danger. I do hope he’s all right.

Currently you have a 50% (ish) chance of coming off a ventilator alive

LockedInMadness · 06/04/2020 20:29

Would they have moved him there just because of how important he is though? To literally give him intensive care?

BakedCam · 06/04/2020 20:29

G'wan lad, you can pull through.

Chanel05 · 06/04/2020 20:29

Really hoping he pulls through. I feel like the whole nation have just had a huge wake up call. His family must be worried sick.

Helpwithaversion · 06/04/2020 20:29

Oh no poor man I really hope he can get through this and recover ☹️

Scbchl · 06/04/2020 20:29

Praying he makes a full recovery quickly and doesnt require ventilation.

heartsonacake · 06/04/2020 20:29

Really hope he’ll be okay.

Nishky · 06/04/2020 20:30

I read he was moved in as a precaution in case he needed ventilation- how likely is this? I wonder if they are trying to avoid panic

evilharpy · 06/04/2020 20:30

Maybe he’s not ventilated yet. I find knowing statistics quite comforting but I don’t like those odds.

KitKat1985 · 06/04/2020 20:30

Oh this is so sad. I am not a fan of his politics, but he's a good leader with kids and another baby on the way. Would be awful if he didn't make it through this. :(

Nirvana1979 · 06/04/2020 20:30

I really hope hes ok.

Its absolutely nothing to do with politics and people who comment with negative crap about funding and such really make me quite sad.

FromEden · 06/04/2020 20:30

I read its normally 50/50 survival when put on a ventilator but with coronavirus its up to 70-80% don't survive Sad

Ifonlywecouldwishuponastar · 06/04/2020 20:30

This has literally broken my heart. I hope people start realising now how serious this is. Sad

Rosegoldglass · 06/04/2020 20:30

Bloody Hell, Hope he has a speedy recovery.

YoursTunbridgeWells · 06/04/2020 20:30

Bless him. He’s overweight and may well have health issues. He’s certainly not in a good place to fight the virus given the stress he’s been under and bonkers hours he’s been working. This does not bode well.
I pray he recovers.

Sosadandempty · 06/04/2020 20:30

God , l am very upset for some reason

Me too. Feel like crying. And I did not and would never vote for him.

Something about how gullible he was with the whole joking about shaking people’s hands thing and now look Sad.

StitchInLime · 06/04/2020 20:30

This is so worrying. Pull through, Boris!

So this taken from a Daily Fail article: 'The death rate of coronavirus patients admitted to intensive care has topped 50 per cent, the latest figures show.

A study found that more than half of the sample of intensive care patients died due to the killer bug while the other 50 per cent were discharged.'

Iwantacookie · 06/04/2020 20:30

Just heard. My blood ran cold.
Even though I was abiding by all rules it's just made it seem more real somehow.
