If you went that is?
My friend works in Sainsbury's and said to me that yesterday the queue was 2 hours to get in.
I went to aldi earlier and had to wait around half an hour. One in one out.

Around 15 minutes at the most, I've not had to queue for much longer tbh.
I find shopping much less stressful now with the social distancing measures than just before when everyone was stockpiling and going crazy.

I went to a massive Tesco last night at 8.15 (closes at 10pm). There was no queue and loads of space inside.

wlv12 · 04/04/2020 19:31

Approx 20minute queue at 12pm.

ListenLinda · 04/04/2020 19:31

About 5 minutes today at Sainsburys.

Heismyopendoor · 04/04/2020 19:32

No queue today at our Lidl

DaphneFanshaw · 04/04/2020 19:32

There is plenty of everything that we need here too, I pretty much did a weeks shop - I even got loo roll

Longdistance · 04/04/2020 19:34

Lidl’s yesterday I waited about 10 minutes or so. I know the layout of the store and knew what I needed. Grabbed it, paid, went home. No major shop needed for 3 weeks.

RingtheBells · 04/04/2020 19:34

I just go to Marks and Spencer now for food and no queue today or last week. Waitrose looked like it had a huge queue

ParkheadParadise · 04/04/2020 19:36

Tesco at 9am this morning, no queue walked straight in.
Later on went to the local chemist to pick up my prescription waited about 40mins in the queue.

nellythenarwhal · 04/04/2020 19:38

Less than half an hour where I live.

disguising · 04/04/2020 19:47

Went to the Waitrose in our mid-sized town centre at 12pm today and queued for 20 minutes to get in.

ComtesseDeSpair · 04/04/2020 19:48

I’ve been doing virtually all of my shopping at a local Turkish-owned mini-mart, there’s never a queue and they are always fully stocked with everything and have been since this began. I’ve no idea why people are queuing 50-people long at the Waitrose and Co-Op accomplish of hundred metres away and complaining about lack of stock there.

gingajewel · 04/04/2020 19:50

30 mins at Aldi yesterday but was fully stocked!

quertyuiop100 · 04/04/2020 19:51

No queue at all at our local Aldi today. They aren't operating a one in, one out, but it was very quiet anyway. Probably only around 20 people in the whole shop.

Pipandmum · 04/04/2020 19:52

Ten minutes at super Tesco Friday at 11am. Long queue but it moved quickly.

aut0replenish · 04/04/2020 19:54

No our q for big Sainsbury yesterday at 10 ish was about 20 mins. Everything in stock. I prefer it.

aut0replenish · 04/04/2020 19:54

There was no q at our fully stocked Lidl.

HeyMicky · 04/04/2020 19:55

About 10 mins at Asda. But it was moving steadily.

Ragwort · 04/04/2020 19:57

I have never queued at any supermarket since this all started, maybe I am lucky but I just avoid the two 'big' supermarkets in our town and have never had any problems.

Drivemybluecar · 04/04/2020 20:03

I have been to Tesco twice since we went into lock down. Not queue once

BestIsWest · 04/04/2020 20:05

Morrisons around noon. No queue.

Madein1995 · 04/04/2020 20:08

Massive huge queue in asda. 30mins queuing in car park. Ridiculous

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 04/04/2020 20:09

I went to waitrose at around 3:00 this afternoon and queued for about 25 mins to get in

Snowymascot · 04/04/2020 20:12

Lucky if it was 10 minutes into Asda

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 04/04/2020 20:14

Could people say where they are roughly? There was a queue all around the perimeter of the car park in Sainsbury's in new cross today. DH was going to go but decided not to. Parents live in Norfolk and there are no queues. The small Tescos and Sainsburys around Peckham and new cross all seem to have about 5-20 people queuing at all times. Before anyone asks I'm still working as a teacher a few days a week so I see them when I'm driving to work.
