I’ve been wondering the same thing. With Boris and the other mps who have symptoms they made a point of saying it was mild symptoms, with him we’ve not heard much at all which has made me worried.

I listened to the radio 4 item about his life and apparently he's a very private man, not letting on anything about his personal life, except a rumour that he enjoys Scottish country dancing.

Well we all saw him in the virtual Cabinet meeting a few days ago so presumably if he’s well enough for that then he’s doing ok.

Very talented individual. Have seen him a few times IRL and utterly charming. Hope he’s on the mend soon!

He is extremely well regarded and respected in his field and the trolls are pathetic.

They do have a say in what goes on twitter though. You’re right Dishedout that they obv have a media team but they won’t publish anything without the approval of the senior civil servants involved.

@Lumisade aw the Scottish country dancing is rather sweet 😀 I met my DH at a dance class so I'm prob a little bit biased but each to their own!

I feel sad for him if he is ill and has no family.

Today is day 7 isn’t it? So the day to come out of isolation if he was feeling okay:

Keep hoping to see him back at a briefing.

Hope he's ok; was musing earlier that he's basically our PM now.

He’s a notoriously private man. I remember reading about him when he first popped up, and his work colleagues know the bare minimum about him. I doubt he’d be on social media when he’s been taken ill. He’s probably just recovering - not everyone wants to divulge their personal life to the rest of the world.

I love how there is so much love and respect for Mr C Whitty on here.
