Lighthearted.

Just made me laugh that it's out of stock everywhere. Even Amazon has run out.

More precious than toilet roll!

Embrace the grey I say.

FairyBatman · 24/03/2020 15:59

I have some purple if anyone e needs it!!

StillMedusa · 24/03/2020 16:00

I reckon we are about 3 weeks from seeing everyone's natural colour Grin (I let mine go grey 3 years ago so no shocks there)

I'm a bit more excited to see what my fuzzy haired son is going to look like..he was overdue a cut and it's the short of hair that grows out not down!

MrsMGE · 24/03/2020 16:01

Hahaha! I'm not going grey yet, but certainly will be looking interesting at the end of this 😅

hamsterchump · 24/03/2020 16:01

It's the only thing I panic bought in Poundland last Tuesday!

Connie222 · 24/03/2020 16:02

@StillMedusa my son is the same. His hair grows into a mushroom shape.

Janaih · 24/03/2020 16:02

My hairdresser posted a message "Please stay away from the box dyes" Grin

ShanghaiDiva · 24/03/2020 16:03

Yes, embrace the grey! It’s a great time to do this. I embraced the grey last October by shaving most of it off and am now embracing the weird curls...

AlphaJura · 24/03/2020 16:03

Glad I stocked up on my normal products (didn't panic buy) last week when I saw it! Not grey yet either but dark roots are getting too much!

Connie222 · 24/03/2020 16:04

I’ve been suffering with HG in this pregnancy so haven’t had the energy to die my hair for three months now. My god, the white hair coming though!! Grey I wouldn’t mind but I’d give Santa a run for his money.

Lifesavesocialdistance · 24/03/2020 16:05

I buy it on offer. So have about 3 boxes of root touch up.

There is no way at all I'm prepared to embrace any grey!!

MrsMGE · 24/03/2020 16:05

I think last time I dyed my own hair was about 10 years ago anyway, it's probably for the best all box dyes are sold out now 🤣

Quite looking forward to seeing what my natural hair colour is actually!

Been dying it since I was a teenager and now I'm late 40s.

bengalcat · 24/03/2020 16:22

Had my roots done at the weekend - am hoping in six weeks or so there may be access otherwise my options will be - access some dye , get my L’Oréal spray on stuff out , wear a headscarf or theatre hat when at work . Will miss my hairdressers and blow dries though and hope the salon survives .

goingoverground · 24/03/2020 16:22

Student DS and his housemates are all sporting new multicoloured hairstyles after a week of online lectures and no going out, except for the great loo roll hunt.

WatchingFromTheWings · 24/03/2020 16:23

My hair was already at the 'really needs doing but don't have the time to get it done' stage about 2 weeks before lockdown. Can't find the colour I want in the shops or online!

Also trying out a 'I'm not going to wear any make up during isolation' thing. I'm going to look shocking when I'm allowed out! 🙈

Soubriquet · 24/03/2020 16:24

It’s funny

A friend of mine went to boots and bought some medication. All good

But hair dye was refused as it wasn’t an essential product

Troels · 24/03/2020 16:33

Dam I have hair dye on my shopping list for this week. Not sure I want to embrace the grey I have to go to work.

moita · 24/03/2020 16:39

And I just got my first grey hair!

TheMemoryLingers · 24/03/2020 16:44

By luck, I stocked up on henna in February and bought enough to last six months. However, it feels like a waste to dye my hair for the sake of one walk a day and an occasional trip to Tesco. I mainly dye it to give myself confidence at work, but I am WFH at the moment.

CeibaTree · 24/03/2020 16:47

I just ordered some on Boots 'collect in store'
Thanks for starting this thread OP - I wouldn't have even thought about hair dye being stockpiled, but I managed to get one box in my usual colour - all other colours were sold out!

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 24/03/2020 16:57

I have quite a lot of white among my roots but there is still a decent amount of brown there . My hair is red but its done at the hairdressers
Oh well . I was toying with letting the natural come through and see what's what .

MrsMGE · 24/03/2020 17:12

Well, well! I have a couple of rainbow colour dyes at home, do you think it's time to get them out yet 😊 I'm wfh, bet my clients will be delighted to see their unicorn lawyer!

MrsMGE · 24/03/2020 17:13

You're welcome @CeibaTree, I didn't think about this either and all shades of blonde are long gone 🤣 Glad you've got one 👍

They had it in Sainsburys at lunchtime. Don’t ask me what because I don’t use it but I noticed it because it was on an end of aisle and a lady stopped to look at it.
