Who is carrying on as normal/going out and about and sticking to plans?

There seems to be a real divide.
Among my friends, ,many are staying put, cancelling plans and hunkering down for the next week and waiting to see how the land lies.
The other half are still of the 'pfff it's going to blow over' camp and are merrily talking about their trip to thailand and making plans for summer bbqs.

It's really unnerving. I flip between being utterly terrified to that reading about Nadine Dorries who seems to be recovering well, and hoping it's not going to be as bad as I expect.

At the moment I’m still going about as usual, I’m not looking to the future too much and will stick to or cancel plans as seems most appropriate at the time.

I can't afford not to

I am. If we get told to quarantine then I’d do it but at the moment I’m trying to live my life as normally as possible

I'm still mixing and getting out.

I haven't done any panic buying although I am the proud owner of four toilet rolls .

It's still life as normal for us but might change if the self isolation stuff strikes as my parents are elderly as are my in-laws.

Me! I'm young with a young family, no underlying medical conditions and I have no elderly or at risk family that I care for or would need to care for if they had to isolate as they all live 5 hours away. So I'm happy to carry on as normal, keep doing my bit for the economy and taking one for the herd immunity team.

I've literally done nothing different recently except checking that I have a pack of paracetamol and ibuprofen and a bottle of Calpol in the cupboard just in case.

I am firmly in the herd immunity camp - I know others will disagree.

Let it runs it cause and let people develop an immunity. We aren’t going to stop this unless the whole world goes onto lockdown simultaneously and waits for those infected to either die or recover.

That’s not going to happen. Us locking down and stoping it is pointless as long as Cambodia, Botswana etc aren’t doing the same since as soon as we start opening travel again it will just come back.

We are. Went out for dinner last night, restaurant was full, everyone happy. Business was booming which was great for everyone.

Me. Gym this morning - absolutely dead.
Have had dinner in a pub with DP tonight and there was no one else in the restaurant part.
Work tomorrow for us both - both essential public sector roles

Bit of both to be honest. A number of social things over the next few weeks have been cancelled, e.g. theatre, music gigs. But we're still going out to dinner tonight (me and DH, walking to a local restaurant which is usually pretty quiet on a Sunday). We're supposed to be going out for dinner with friends next week, which will involve travelling on public transport. I'm not keen on going but DH still wants to (as do other members of the party).

Thankfully we're not working, so can be mostly at home. I have plenty of food in the house and have been doing a lot of batch cooking for the freezer, so lots of things to eat for at least a week/two weeks.

But I'm waiting to see what tomorrow brings, as I suspect things will be ramped up again.

We are carrying on as normal at the moment. Have been out and about this weekend with the kids, and kids are going to school and me to work tomorrow. My dh's work have been told to work from home next week.

I'm concious that it may get a whole lot worse so trying not to let it affect us negatively at the moment.

Business as usual for us at the moment, children attended birthday barties over the weekend and we went out to the park and out for lunch today.

My work have told us to continue to arrive at work as usual and prepare to work from home if and when government tells us to, but not yet. I commute 30min by train.

I'm not visiting my elderly grandma (or even my not elderly but asthmatic mum) for the time being.

Dc will attend their sports clubs as usual this week until they are cancelled. Although eldest football fixture was cancelled on Saturday.

We have a bit of extra food in, but not huge stock piles. Prepared to lock down as soon as government advise it. Dh is essential nhs staff so he will be continuing as usual too. He has been working all weekend and didn't think his department were much busier than usual.

I'm not becoming a hermit but I am definitely limiting my social contact and not going out for meals/coffee/drinks. I owe it to those in society more vulnerable than me.

We are going about our business but with a little more thought. Shopping, had lunch out, walked at the beach. Just being careful about what we touch, much more hand washing and using common sense. We'll be at work, DD will be at school.

I am cautiously going about my normal routine. Less handshaking and more hand washing. My job is not essential as in life saving, but it is local government and we need to keep as many services functioning as much as possible. So I am going to essential meetings, doing Skype for ones that are just people talking to each other, and working from home as much as I can.

I don't know anybody personally who has changed their plans. Everybody going about as usual unless they're self isolating for symptoms...

We don't do much generally tbh, we are still going to work and kids are going to school but that's all we do anyway!

Got fish and chips for tea last night. DD1 wanted to go swimming today but said her legs were too tired to walk there so we said she was too tired to swim, but that wasn't Coronavirus related. Clubs are still on and I've booked holiday club for Easter on the assumption it runs.

I went running yesterday morning as normal but you don't see many people at 7am on Saturday!

Pretty much as normal. We still went out for dinner yesterday and will do so again tonight.

Carrying on professionally because I have to. Secretly hoping for the government advice to change.

Been out and about - more than normal, because of what we see from friends in Madrid with respect to lockdown. We have been sensible about hygiene and hand washing. Everywhere seems very quiet.

Carrying on as normal, Dd and I are healthy we don't have any family members over 60 so I'd rather we got it earlier rather than later.

We are not making any changes just now. Life this weekend has been as we had planned. DD has done her activities, been to the gym, was at an event today and out for lunch. We are keeping doing if it because we believe we will have to isolate at some point so not starting earlier than we have to. Tomorrow DD will go to school and so will I as I’m a teacher. I have no idea when the children will be sent home so keeping on going.

Carrying on as normal for now until we're told otherwise. Yesterday, I went shopping on the high street and to a birthday party. Today we went to Ikea and to Tesco.
We have no holidays booked but we're not looking too far ahead just yet.
I have health issues and although I am concerned about catching it, I can't afford to not go to work.
