So DH’s medical team say he needs an inpatient bed now.
We’re stuck in the outpatients hotel and no bed forthcoming because of corona. He’s rapidly becoming neutropenic and there are no beds available.
This is actually happening today, now. I am stressed beyond belief.

Continuing to send you thoughts and vibes for the best outcome. Keep the faith.

He’s home now... 2 weeks early as they were clearing beds! But. He’s pretty stable and comfortable if extremely weak.
We’ve been self isolating for a long time now but have to take DS1 to fracture clinic Monday morning. Tried to get out of it but they insisted as he’s got a complicated break. Arse.

Contact pals. They seem to have a lot of sway in hospital

Thank you Maddy... their reasoning is that if his break isn’t well healed he could lose the use of his hand in later life. 😬 feel so torn.
They’ve shifted the X-ray/cast removal appointment to 8.30am so there will be no one else there. Still though.
